Thomas Aquinas has Love, Hope, and Faith as Religious virtues. I felt more that Hope was a disposition.
He also list prudence (planning, deliberating, deciding and executing a goal) as a Virtue. (Justice, temperance and fortitude are the four Earthly virtues.
It's amazing hearing the interpretation of the brain in the ways presented on this channel.

My limbic system and prefrontal cortex are having a battle. I might change my mind about my future career as a psychologist. Thanks for sharing.

From a neuroscience prospective, happiness is the wrong goal. Equinemity or peace of mind is the appropriate goal. Best wishes

That's an interesting perspective. Why do you say happiness is the wrong goal? Thank you for your thoughtful comment.

I think the goal is neither peace nor happiness but the exercise of free will or a desire to be free from control.
Maybe we can say an inner order based on freedom, knowledge and understanding motivated by the desire to expand oneself beyond the opposites of emotions.

5:35 that's how i felt the past 6 months. I'm crawling out of it now. i feel like my PFC is just to slow sometimes🤣. I also don't like driving cars(1:25) so maybe its the dlPFC.

Just like the ABCDE process in CBT.

Do our body move on its own or it is in our control .how do we know that our body moves by us when i was lying on bed i said in my mind move hand but my hand did not move but it does move like i am typing right now but i did not said it or instructed my hand to write or type but it is doing yes i want to type but how i can explain that my hand is in my control how i can feel that it instructed them to move i play badminton and moblie games but do you feel that you are moving your hand without thinking of it moving while you are eating you go for spoon but did you instructed or said them to move.

And when i try to stop thinking and then move my hand it means thinking does not require for movements like when sometime itching somewhere in our body our hands automatically move

Does anyone else think the image of the brain looks like a human being making sujood?

    1. Why does the click-pop sound during transitions have a negative effect? Because it disturbs the flow of thought and interrupts brain waves.
    2. Why does a person talking about neuroscience use these negative sound transitions? Maybe because they want you to feel negative while watching.
    3. Please don't say that memory, focus, and attention are affected, and that scientists have found that the click-pop sound will take over your mind.

Otherwise a great video, but the amount of times dlpfc is said in the first 5 minutes makes my head want to explode.
