To be honest ive been trying to learn for a while cuz ive always loved the language its such a pretty language and russia its self omg its beautiful its always been my dream to one day vist Russia and see the culture in real life ! But this video ive learned and started to now more ive lissend to this on the bus and before i go to bed im like sooo incureged to learn ot know!
I'm trying to learn Russian, and I got the first vocabulary down. But this video is so jumpy. You teach me all the different fruits and vegetables (which is good, I"m not complaining), but then out of a sudden you expect me to say entire sentences/questions that are A) not related to the vocabulary you taught me, B) way to fast for me to follow and C) some don't even have translating subtitles, that I pretty much have to guess whether I said it right. I was happy to find a video that would start with giving me a wide range of vocabulary, and not teach me all vegetables and then sentences in which I ask someone about Italian.
That is the TRUTH, friend. I took two years in high school and always regretted I didn't learn more of the language, so I've decided, against my better judgment, to remedy that. It hasn't been easy for me, and I know it will get harder before it gets better...but I will persevere. I suspect by the time I'm finished, my English will no longer be in the correct format, and my Russian will be spotty. :) Who knows. Maybe I'll surprise myself.

To all those saying it is too fast 'livlonbalive' in a reply to another post has very helpfully pointed out that the three dots in the top right of the video gives you a menu which includes changing the speed. Have to say that 'basic words and phrases' seems a bit of a misnomer, e.g. "I don't like cucumber" - can't see myself using that very often, still listening to this while grouting a bathroom will help with my learning (BTW sleep learning doesn't work but listening and repeating while doing an otherwise mindless task does)
Hritik, I advise you to not do it. It's not a brilliant job unless you are very lucky, and it has no future. CAT, ie computer assisted translation is getting better all the time. This also applies to interpreting

Its not true that you can learn it by sleeping, or being otherwise occupied. If you want to effectively learn it, you should keep repeading the words over and over again, including the prior ones. So you should concentrate. Try learning just ten words/phrases a day. Sounds like not a lot, but thats 100 words in just 10 days. You will quickly have learned the basic vocabulary in Russian, and you can start learning grammar and sentence structure.
Л.С. Мото True, but you can use this before going to sleep and you may end up dreaming about being in Russia or while multitask instead of listening to a crappy song as part of your learning process, it’s highly unlikely anyone will learn the language solely by listening to this recording.

It’s much easier once you have mastered the alphabet
Its actually pretty easy. Just practice the russian alphabet then you can read russian. I watched a 45 minute lesson and it helped me tremendously.
