They've been friends since then that's why they're very close with each other. 3rd, Rosé's voice then and now is her real voice. There's no fake voice. Don't believe anything you read online about her voice. Most of those are not true and are just spread by people (mostly blinks lol) who doesn't know anything about vocals and are just self-proclaimed vocal coaches. This song was recorded in 2012 when Rosé was just 15 yrs old and was just a new trainee in yg. She was very young then and barely had any training. Fast forward to now, years after training in yg, she developed her style of singing but her voice is still the same. It's her REAL voice. I don't think rose is using a different voice currently, I just think she's only using the higher part of her voice. Because she sounds like she does now around 2:40-2:45. YG just doesn't let her use the lower part of her voice.

Rosé can still sing in her lower register if only she was given a chance. But she isn't. Like what i said above in my comment, we just hear her sing bp songs and some covers. It's very limited. And we haven't seen her full potential as a vocalist yet.

Y'all ALWAYS be thankful to GD for showing us Rosé's deep-toned voice in a beautiful way (now that I think about it, we would've never seen that side of her if it wasn't for "Without You", and how good of a vocal she is, and always keep hope for her to sing like THAT one day, even tho she's doing great both ways) as well as help Jennie out a LOT as an artist (had her feature twice, once as a vocal, then in his mv, teaching her expressions and which camera to look at, taking her to stage BEFORE debut which boosted her confidence later on, supporting Jennie till today in different ways). I don't think rose is using a different voice currently, I just think she's only using the higher part of her voice. Because she sounds like she does now around 2:40-2:45. YG just doesn't let her use the lower part of her voice.
