For the second part with the melody, firstly I didn't know you could now push turn to snap to scale, that's handy!
Secondly though, we wouldn't need that workaround if they would let LFOs randomize pitch in the selected scale, that would be handy! Hopefully some day 🤞🤞

IMO the very best thing about the DT2 is simply how good it sounds now. When you sample something it doesnt dissolve into dirt, so when you go to play it back it sounds exactly how it should.

Im pretty sure the DT2 can have even longer samples/ sample time when using mono. Like twice the amount.
You are truly the tip of the spear for all things Digitakt II! But I'm still trying figure out why my Syntakt audio signal is so low when routed into the DT2. Syntakt master volume is set to max and LR In on DT2 is 127 yet the mix is still off. Any tips on best audio routing for this setup? Thanks :)
According to elektronauts the low input volume is a known „bug“ that will be fixed in future updates.

There’s a browser editor called digichain that does this if you’re transferring samples over from your computer

Good video. I wanted to do this with round robins samples on say an 808 kit for example. I see the benefit of doing this for that example but in your example could you not just set the LFO to random trigger samples in the sample pool?
1) is there 1 FX buss for the 16 tracks? 2) can we resample with the FX to alleviate the potential issue with #1? Elektron needs to up their FX offerings. It sucks. Especially with these new prices.

Hey, thanks for all your Digitakt 2 content! Quick question: Is it possible to lower the volume of all internal Digitakt tracks at once without affecting the synth input volume? My Hydrasynth volume, even when maxed out, requires me to lower each Digitakt track individually in the mixer. Also, is there a way to always have the Digitakt set to hear the connected synth by default? Whenever I change kits, I have to go back into the mixer to turn the input synth volume up. Thanks for any suggestions!

When you set Trigs like 7:02 can you change the trigs to random slices like you could on the octatrack? I don’t mean the random lfo trick. I hope you know the function from the octatrack that I mean ❤

Can you play multisamples with the preset keyboard? example: If I sample every fret of my bass guitar and load all those multisamples to a preset pool.. Can I play those various bass guitar note samples chromatically up and down the keyboard, recording everything I'm playing onto one track? Essentially ending up with one bass track where each note is a separately sampled fret?
I want to buy DT2 but can't find clear info on this. I basically want to make funk music with 'real' bass guitar melodies, not a one shot note pitched up and down the keyboard. I'm wondering if multisamples can be performed on a single track using the performative kit.

Does the Push Down the Note knob to adhere to a scale work on Digitakt 1 as well?

I was used to LFO the sample slot in grid mode on the DT1 but it seems this specific LFO destination has now disapeared in DT2. Am I blind or what ? 🤨

Very cool trick Matt, thanks for sharing! Similarly, is it possible create a sample chain made of multisample drum parts that would be triggered and selected via velocity modulation !? In this way, one could sample into the DT2 a multisample drum VST (like Addictive Drum 2) into the DT2. If possible, this would be dope! This said, as a drummer, I might be biased! 😅
