My wife and I had this played at our wedding in the service and it was the first song that we danced too. An absolutely brilliant song and it holds so many great memories for us both!!!!
@@barbarabarganska9540 I really feel for you and with you. I played this at My Son's funeral in March 2023 as they moved Him to the Hearse. I haven't stop playing it since. 😪
Found it hard to believe they canceled the series. Found it kind of refreshing to have a series that went back to the 'old' days; when things were tougher. No holodecks. Love the song. Not surprised Diane Warren wrote it.
It took too long to figure out what it was supposed to be. While other Treks take a couple of seasons to do this, and VOY never really did, as a prequel it should have been better planned out from the gate.
The first time I heard this song while watching Star Trek Enterprise I actually thought it was Scott Bakula singing... based on how Scott's voice sounded when he'd sing on an episode or two of Quantum Leap back when....
When I started watching Enterprise, I thought this song was not really fitting, but then I thought about it. It's more romantic, a tribute to all the explorers, those who came before, and those who led the first step out of humanities cradle. I found it very fitting.
I remember watching the first episode of Enterprise with great anticipation and I loved it! This theme was so different and perfect for a story line pre TOS. The video montage was exceptional, ending at the intersection of fiction and reality. We are just a Phoenix away from the stars! At the end of the opening…tears of joy. Alan Shepard, awesome. Thank you Russell Watson!
I remember Rod Stewart's version years before the show existed and when I first saw Enterprise I thought it was Rod Stewart singing at first till I learned it was Russel Watson. Both great versions
It's a great song . I wasn't a great Star Trek fan, but I liked Enterprise very much. I wish they had more. season's than four. This series is much better than today's Discovery or Picard. I liked the stories of Captain Archer and his crew long before Captain Kirk and Captain Pike. I prefer one or two more new seasons with the first Enterprise of Archer and his now elderly crew. Probably wishful thinking.
Great series .where was the epic solo tho ?? and the guitar player missed a the ending arpeggio. Worst intro song in a Star Trek series .so bad it’s good .know what I mean
Epic song done by a
fantastic singer ! Never get tired of
listening to it. ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Networks screw up again. Enterprise collateral damage. 😢😢
He gets into it so well.

I found it very fitting.
Schade das so viele diese serie gar nicht kennen. Dabei ist sie genau so gut wie all die anderen
ENTERPRISE was canceled too soon... it was just getting good...!!!

Magnificent version of this song and the Star Trek Enterprise series is for me the best of all. Way above the others that are also excellent

Loved the show and lived the theme.. still watch it in the 2020... Pitty they didnt make more seasons
Would have loved a continuation of the entreprise storyline with the lady captain rather than discovery

Good song about never give up on your dreams
one great song and singer
The Original Song is from Rod Stewart. But this is also a great Interpretation.👍
Who would believe that that speaking voice would belong to the same person as that singing voice? Nice!
Before Star Trek Enterprise in 2001 this song was sung by Rod Stewart for the movie Patch Adams in 1998.

Love the song but he sings it way too fast there.

Blimey - Donald Trump on guitar?

TOO BAD THAT IT ONLY LASTED 100 EPISODES
