Just watched the Ralph Lauren spring 2025 fashion show. Fabulous! Wearable, realistic clothing for real people. I am loving these classic shapes and colors especially the equestrian look.
Thank you, Elana for another great informative video. I had a color analysis done. I am a Dark Autumn. Total game changer and it fixed my wardrobe. I would love to see your color analysis results. I am thinking you are a Dark Winter. The Dark Winter and Dark Autumn seasons share colors too since some cross over. I used Color Guru. Their names are a little different and they gave me “Twight Autumn” colors which is equivalent to Dark Autumn. I’d love to see what your results are. ❤😊
I already have plenty of leopard print items, all high-quality classic items, and I don’t like zebra or tiger prints - their scale is always too big on petite, and the prints too dramatic, for petite, quiet-style me. I like snake prints and cheetah prints better and might buy more of those. I already bought a snake-print belt and sandals last summer, in the black/gray/white colorway, those golden, yellowish browns don’t suit my Soft Summer coloring. Animal prints can very easily look cheap. I’ve been looking everywhere for a silk snake-print skirt, but finally got a rayon one from Mango (at least it’s a breathable fabric, unlike polyester). The print looked ok on the website image, but looks super-cheap in the full-scale, actual item, so I’m still looking.
I highly recommend Merriam Style here on youtube for color analysis. I am cool olive and always knew I was different. I could never pull off golden bronze makeup. Now I know why! Life changing.❤
I loved my Color Me Beautiful analysis, it was well worth it and I recommend it highly. I’m sure I made the cost back in a year or two because it stopped me buying clothes that didn’t look good on me, but I didn’t really understand quite why they didn’t work well. That said, I would use it only as a general guideline, and not follow it too strictly if something doesn’t feel or look right after trying your recommendations for a while. I ended up dropping two recommended hues, grays and purples*, and switched from the recommended silver jewelry-only, to both silver and gold-color jewelry. Now I love my adjusted, personalized color palette and I stick to it. *I just felt too drab in grays and found purples really difficult to style. You can experiment with new colors with inexpensive tops like t-shirts, or with scarves, to see how you like them before investing more into them.
I will definitely look into the "marine" trend, as well as the cable knit sweaters, add some colours to my spring outfits. If I go for animal prints it will be snake print for shoes and belt. I hate leopard or tiger prints. Many thanks again for your good advice and suggestions.
Black dress, animal print heels and a red purse, can look really sexy. I’m not a big animal print fan but the smallest addition like stilettos or kitten heels can look great!
I thought last year’s trends were the best since the late 90s and many of 2025’s look great, too. I think this is because many of these trends are based on timeless, elegant classics. Finally, designers seemed to have stopped, or at least paused, offering only freakish, weirdo, costumey “looks” that no sane person would touch with a barge pole. Remember the dress with the inflated kiddie pool attached, encircling the dress, for example? It’s designer offerings like that that make me not want to buy anything new, ever! Really, there is nothing new under the sun, so why not give us fresh, updated, classic-based styles like 2024’s every season? You designers, why not finally give up on the panty under the transparent skirt thing? We didn’t buy it the last twenty times you tried it and we never will!
Can’t wait to see you trying these new trends. Would you be able to review the coats from Quince? And yes color analysis is so much fun. I changed my spending habits because of it. ❤
I am about 5'0 weight is 125 lb. I have a question, where is a good place to buy a winter wool blend coat? Thank you for the videos I love them. btw I'm 71 soon to be 72. 😀

So interesting!
Dark Autumn here. 😊
I think you need more color and fun! I’m over dark and beige neutrals

I like animal print when done tastefully. It's fun and funky.
Always love leopard print…always.😊
I love animal print in small doses. The Quince animal print silk skirt is beautiful. And don’t mind a leopard scarf.

Giving me lots of ideas. Thanks.
Animal print looks cheap to me.
Have never been a fan of animal print and never will lol 🤷♀
I love that people are experimenting more with colors.
I'm in no way a professional, but my guess is that you are in the Winter family !
🥰
I think you are right!!
@@ElanaKindaI agree! Dark Winter. 😊
@@danielled5883yes!!
I was going to say the same thing :)
I hate animal print too, I can’t ever get into it.
I like animal print, but I don't love it. I like it in small quantities such as shoes, belts, scarves, and sweaters.
Animal print is not for me either but, I like it on others.
Team animal print yes I love it
