Pile 2. This resonated 100%. The situation went exactly as described. I didn't feel he was giving enough. It was the beginning stages of a newer connection. Things seemed very promising and I could tell he was really into me... but then there was a massive energy shift and he pulled back. I have no idea why or what happened. @@hayabarakat5077 We're still apart. When I walked away/ghosted him I never returned. I'm gone from all social media except an abandoned Twitter account I haven't used in 4+ years. So he has no way to reach me even if he wanted to. But honestly he could have still tried Twitter or find some other way if he truly cared. I don't think he does so fvck him. I'm still really hurt about it and deep down I hope we could reconcile in the future, but honestly if he doesn't care then he's not someone I should want anyway. 💜

Pile 3. This was an extremely handsome stranger who helped me two days ago when my car broke down in the middle of a main road. I assume the wanted to protect me part was because he stayed with me until my recovery arrived and helped with that too. I didn't get to introduce myself as it was all busy with phone calls and pushing the car, stopping traffic etc and in the end we were on two different parts of the road. So we left without more. Pile 3. Wow. Yes I had to let him go. I got sick of the lies and being played for a fool! I learnt my lesson and blocked him out. He thinks I’m dumb, except I see right through him. I no longer give in to his connection. He doesn’t deserve my time. Yes I rejected him and told him I can not be more than friends. Not after how he disrespected and mistreated me in the past (we have 2 children together so there’s history) keeping secrets from me, isn’t protecting me, it was protecting himself!
