[HOW TO BE SAVED]
After you die do you think you will you go to Heaven or Hell?
We all DESERVE to go to HELL because of what we have done WRONG in this life!
"As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one:"
(Romans 3:10)
"For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God."
(Romans 3:23)

The "Good News" is that God LOVES us and wants to SAVE US from going to that terrible place called hell.
Check this verse out from the Bible...
"For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Saviour; Who will have ALL men to be saved, and to come unto the knowledge of the truth." (1 Timothy 2:3-4)

After we DIE it will be TOO LATE to be saved!
"And as it is appointed unto men once to die, but after this the JUDGMENT"

God's solution for our sin is THE CROSS...
"But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." (Romans 5:8)

SALVATION is God's FREE GIFT to us...
"For the wages of sin is death; but the GIFT of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord." (Romans 6:23)

The Result of our faith is PEACE WITH GOD...
"Therefore being justified by faith, we have peace with God through our Lord Jesus Christ." (Romans 5:1)
"For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast." (Ephesians 2:8,9)

At this very moment you have the responsibility of making a decision.
You can be saved right now:
Simply make the decision in your heart to trust completely and exclusively in the blood of the Lord Jesus Christ as the total payment to God for your sins.
The moment you do, God will forgive you all your sins and save you from spending eternity in the Lake of Fire.

After we are saved we are SEALED (kept safe by God) by Being given God's Holy Spirit to be with us until we go to be in heaven...
"In whom [Christ] ye also trusted, after that ye heard the word of truth, the gospel of your salvation: in whom also after that ye believed, ye were sealed with that Holy Spirit of promise..." (Ephesians 1:13)

The scriptural answer is yes, you can stop sinning. People could stop sinning even before Christ came, why else would we be guilty of sin if it was out of our control? The point is that whether we stop sinning or not, everyone has at least sinned once in their lives and so we need a redeemer. Not that Christ's sacrifice has been made, we're not bound to our debt in sin. This means we can walk righteously, pursue a relationship with God, and appear truly righteous on judgement day.
God doesn't pacify sin, and neither should we.
Can I ask the people that you live with whether or not you still sin? What's that sound? Crickets chirping?
@@thomasn3882 Be careful not to use people or the world to support your beliefs. Christ is your example, and God's word is the only truth.
I don't understand your words man. Too confusing, too much in the way to understand. Adjust your language for the lowest common denominator.
No frogman here but thanks for the explanation, definitely helped. But what about confessing your sins and knowing you'll probably fall prey to them again? That's something I've always wondered about. Like lets say I take the lords name in vain, confess that sin, and stub my toe on the way out only to let out a couple bad words? Like I don't really understand how it all relates to the bigger picture and have a hard time seeing God caring about me saying something nasty from time to time.
