I run a free clinic that’s inside of a Masjid. We didn’t have the funds to run a proper security camera for the one clinic storage room. Everywhere else has proper security cameras that were installed when the building was bought.
We use one Cam Pan v2 for the clinic room. It’s a very nice camera. It’s mounted using a mount that has 3M VBH adhesive. I love the wide view and the camera quality when it’s dark/night time. I’ll definitely buy the upgraded Cam Pan if the one we have ever dies.

I been using wyze since they first came out. They have survived the heat in phoenix summer after summer. Lost one when lightning struck a tree close to it and fire department soaked it. It hung on for a few days then quit working. That was a v1 pan cam, it didn’t have a cover so that was fairly impressive. The constant recording on sd it what I want and it’s worked well over the years. Just ordered OG and the v3 pan!! Excited to see how they work!!
Was it the adapter that failed or well, I'm guessing the camera itself right? (Had a storm and it looks like it knocked out multiple cam v3, so trying to plan/budget)
I have two RING Cameras on my house. Love them. It is a subscription service though. I’m satisfied with the system and think it. $40 a year for the two cameras is a reasonable enough cost.
Nice camera, Jason! Can't wait to see what else they come out with this year. The Wyze Cam OG for $20 and the Wyze Telephoto is sweet too. 👌
I use these cameras to watch my parents but not the Pan Cam, just the newer regular models. Have one in the kitchen and pops bedroom. I sometimes even communicate with them on it. Setup can sometimes be a PITA but sometimes it's smooth sailing. Especially the Qcode scanning. Anyhow, it's worth the money IMO.
The guy that keeps walking back and forth in front of your store looks very suspicious. ;)

Sounds like a good low cost system but can you pair multiple cameras to work simultaneously all streamed to a monitoring drvice?

Just fyi.... I found that I needed to turn off the IR light in some areas/seasons since they were a bug magnet. They would trip the motion sensor.

I work 9-5 in a pc, then, it's a must have feature for me.

My problem is I don't get notifications at all & their customer service expended 1hr with me but still I don't get notifications on my Galaxy ultra plus cel phone
Can u tell me what I am doing wrong please?

On the OG, you need 2.4G but you don’t need to be logged into that network to setup the OG. You see a list of networks on the OG. Unlike the Pan 3 - which appears to licensed to Wyze.
It's a dang good camera for the price!

It is worth to pay more to get a v3 pro versus OG or regular v3 for a video quality?

I put in a Wyze Guy camera. Now every time someone walks buy, it shakes them down.
Gotta do something to cover the cost!

I have a question.
I have 6 Wyze Camera, Wyze camera V3 pro & pan V3.
2 days ago, we lost the internet, and then it came back after calling our provider . When it came back, none of my cameras worked . I called Wyze & they said we don't support 5G. I told them what you mean? I have been having the same service. Nothing has been changed , & they keep saying the same thing. They don't support 5G on these Cameras.
But I have been having 5G over a year.
Do you have any feedback for me please?😢
Check your WiFi on your phone and see if you have a 2.4 option for your network available. Set your phones wifi to the 2.4 channel then try to reconnect them through the app.
I got the OG and the colors are over saturated but its not the deal breaker. Those are cheap cameras. Can't expect much. The app is good. Many options for a cheap camera. Notifications are fast. 5 sec.
As soon as I installed the OG I noticed the oversaturation when looking at it beside the v3 in the app!) When I get the telephoto's I am doing a video on them together (minus the silly connector they haven't produced yet) and definitely bringing that up. When I put it in I had another Wyze multiple cam owner with me and he actually thought it looked better, he wasn't planning to get any OG so he was very interested.
I think most routers can be set with two SSIDs , one 2.4 and one 5gig, I do on mine
V3 looks a lot better.
