    Thank you. I had a broken wire to the valve block, so the vehicle wouldn't not raise. This video helped me get the valve block safely and fix the broken wire. Thanks!

    Hi Charles,thanks for the effort! Great tip about removing the spare to gain access :-). Can you perhaps add the link to Ian's video on cleaning the valve blocks, I cannot seem to find it via Google.Keep up the good work, cheers Marais

    Thank you so much for the tutorial. Were you able to re-use the fittings/voss connectors?

      You shouldn't have a problem reusing them.

    I figured it out. If you have lift rods installed you will need to use two floor jacks to lift front and rear of truck off the bump stops. Jack it up to regular ride height then start the car and it will start to lift and hold pressure.

    Charles - great video! Between you and Bodsy (of Brake Bible fame) I'm going to do this today. Mine now takes only a few hours to hit the bump stops and the compressor is working overtime. Not sure if the video is on there yet - but please post the link on 4x4 Community Forum and Disco3.co.uk. I may then also do the middle and front valves as well - depending on the outcome. Cheers, and thanks again! Paul

    Thanks Charles for this. It's worth saying that after disconnecting the electrical connector from the block, you can lift the valve block off its mounts upwards with the pipes still connected and pull it towards the hub of the car and disconnect the pipes one at a time. It's still a bit of a barsteward to get to but it makes the job possible without crawling under the car.....!

    I did everything you said to do and I didn't miss any steps. After hooking everything back up I turned on the truck and it's says suspension fault and special programs off. Now it on the bump stops and won't raise. Before I removed the valve block I really only had a slow leak and no suspension faults. Any suggestions as to why it won't raise and goes right into fault mode? I unhooked the battery to reset, I arched the compressor fuse to force start the compressor and it ran for 8 min and didn't raise the truck either. Help???

      It could also be that your compressor dryer housing is cracked. You really need to service the compressor and all the valve blocks at the same time to be sure.

    Great video Charles. 👍
    I've updated the video breakdown of the valve block itself. Hopefully it's a little clearer and includes now all of the seals.

      Thanks Ian ! In the next couple of weeks I'll be overhauling my compressor from a kit. I'm going to try record that one too.

    Thanks for the video, I got an LR3, what position should the car be when its parked. the mechanic fixed the suspension but it says suspension fault and it is really low when parked over night. it rises when you start it... how do you know whats the position its supposed to be while parked. I also feel the compressor gets on for a long time.l I'm not sure the mechanic is well versed in this car! Any device we can buy to self diagnose?
    thanks again (-:

      Karim Alameddine the suspension shouldn't drop at all overnight or even over several days if all the valves are sealing properly. However if you switch off and then get out after parking, it may adjust once to compensate for the change in levels from your weight leaving. But left alone, it should't slowly drop overnight. Thats definitely a leak somewhere, your compressor then runs for a long time to build up the pressure used in the morning to raise back to normal height. Prolonged use like this will eventually wear the compressor out.

    How many valve blocks does it have does it have to

    • @any0n378
      @any0n378 2 роки тому

      3 Valve blocks. One in the front with 3 solenoids, 1 in the rear with 3 solenoids, one between the compressor and the air tank with a single solenoid and pressure switch.
