Creating Waterdrops in Maya 2022

Hello everyone and welcome to this quick tutorial on how to create waterdrops in Maya. I will be using an old mel script, that needs to be updated, but still works in Maya 2022.

The mesh of the particles isn't showing in my model, is there a way to fix this?

You'll have to play with the meshing of the particles, that might be the issue.

Is there no inbuilt option in maya ? Can we do it without using script or something?

The script is using nparticles in the background so yeah, you can for sure do it without the script. It's just easier this way. Cheers

Is the script giving any error? I can't replicate that issue. If you go through the comments in this video there is a link to the fixed script. Try that

This is an old script, but if you replace the part I showed in the beginning it will work.
