When kids don’t read over the summer, they fall behind. 📖
The Kern County Library, Kern Dance Alliance, and our Kern County dance partners are working together to encourage literacy in Kern County through our summer reading program, BOOKS IN MOTION®: DANCE + LITERACY ! 💃🏽📘🕺🏼
YOU are invited to visit the library to experience 12 Kern County dance organizations present 12 different books LIVE in performance, take a mini dance class, and participate in a crafting session based upon a beloved children’s book!
The best part about Books in Motion? The FREE book at the end of the program! 📚
