Banana Flip cakes were a Little Debbie treat. I remember them when I was young. I don't think they make them anymore. I wish I had your ambitions, but at 72 I don't have your energy. Truly love your family and love spending every evening with you all. God Bless
Banana Flips were my favorite treat, I was so sad when they stopped making them. They were shaped like a fried pie with the yummy filling inside. Can't Can't wait to try this recipe...thank you for sharing this vintage sheet cakes.❤❤❤
You are free to choose, but not free from the consequence of your choice. Choose wisely and embrace the consequences. Happy Wednesday! Have a Beautiful and Blessed evening/ day and week. See you next video. Stay safe and healthy. God Bless.
Hostess made Banana Flips, individual snack cakes long like twinkies. They were yummy. Your cake & the steak bombs looked sooooo good! Did everyone like the fry seasoning?
I remember those banana flip cakes when I was a kid. They were a thin yellow cake a little smaller around than a saucer and they were folded in half with the banana fluff stuff in the middle. They were usually sold where the Hostess hand pies were sold. I loved them😋
When I was a girl we could go to the store and get an individual banana flip cake. That’s what you made banana flip. It was that cake and it was about the thickness of the cake that you put on top, it was cut into a round circle probably 6 inches around, The cream filling was put in it and then the circle was flipped over like a half moon pie. The cream would be very obvious coming out of it and it was literally loaded with the cream. There was nothing on top of it just the cream and the cake. It didn’t have any bananas in it, it was just the vanilla cream. And I don’t know why they quit putting them in the stores because they were absolutely melt in your mouth great!
The Cake In A Way Reminds Me Of The Banana Twins Little Cake's By Little Debbie 😂 But I Could Definitely See Myself Looking Like Big Debra If I Baked That Cake For Myself 😂 I'll Wait To Our Next Family Get Together And Make It..I Couldn't Trust Myself 😅 Cause It Look's That Scrumptious 😋 The Steak Bomb's Also Look Delicious And Manly Is The Sweetest, All Your Children Are...Be Blessed Moss Family ❤😊
YUM!! Nothing like homemade raw fries. They are the best. And that banana flip cake brought back memories. My Dad used to do side work for people fixing radios, hand mixers, irons, etc and one widow lady that he fixed things for would always have him stay for coffee when he delivered back her item that he fixed and I always got to come along. She would often times serve banana flip cake. She added in mashed banana in the filling and then put slices on top. It was really good. That would have been back in the middle 60's.
In Chattanooga we have a sandwich place that makes Steak in a Sack and they put the mixture down into the pita pockets. It’s so good! Yours looked so yummy as all your food does! And I don’t like bananas or the flavor so I’d love to try the vanilla pudding mix alternative like you did for the cake!
I think the Hostess company is who made banana flips . I don’t like them but my mom loved them every time she went to the store she got them . They were folded in half and you could see all of the filling. The filling is kinda like a twinky nothing on the top . They looked like a half moon . ☔️❄️☔️
Omg Fallen, you’ve taken me back to my childhood! Our mom would buy Banana Flips at the local Dolly Madison bakery. They were soooo good, it was one of my brothers and my favorite!! It had a strong banana flavor and the cream middle was amazing! Thank you for sharing such treasures, and great recipes! 💕💕
Cake 😋. Steak bombs sounded delicious. Manley was a great helper with the cake stirring. Titas is so handy with woodworking, can't wait wait to see the Tv stand. Moss Family enjoy the evening, may Thursday be a of great fun and always God Bless everyone. 🦆🐔🐓🦃😊⛄❄💜🦉🦊
I remembered! Hostess used to make a banana dream- flip cake! That’s where this recipe came from & probably why you could remember tasting it before! I knew that recipe reminded me of something.
Everything you make always looks so good !! I remember banana flip cakes, but don’t know who made them. They were individually wrapped, great for lunches!! 😀😀
My sister n law always made a Twinkie cake! It was one of her signature desserts. When you first started making it, that’s what it reminded me of. I’ve made it too but it’s been years.
Hey girl, guess what makes oiling and seasoning home fries? Put your cut taters in a bowl. Put your oil and stir to coat. Then add your seasoning and stir to coat. 😉🤣 Maybe you should try making homemade twinkies. I bet it'd pretty easy. Oh! By the way. There are cast iron fans made for the sitting atop a wood stove. It turns and helps circulate the hot air. It just works with the heat. No power required. I'm sure they're made out of other materials now these days.
Everything looks delicious! Back in the day Hostess made the banana flips. They were my Dads favorite. Little Debbie has some banana cakes that come close to them. Although I haven’t seen the boxes of them in a while. The filling that you made is what they use in the Pennsylvania Dutch chocolate gobs. It’s 2 big fluffy chocolate cookies with that filling in between. We make those a lot. Have a great night!
As usual, Moss family is the highlight of my evening! What cut of steak did you use? Looked really good. The tv stand is gonna be beautiful! Titus is gonna have his own show on Magnolia Network soon they way he’s going.
That cake brought back memories. We use to buy those banana flip cakes at our country store. Yellow cake with that delicious filling and flipped over like a taco. I haven’t seen those in years. “Greatest cake ever”! 😂😂. Little Debbie made the banana twin cakes.
I've never heard of banana flip cake either. I will have to try the cake. Saved the recipe. I made Philly Cheesesteak Meatloaf and Spite biscuits last night for dinner. It is so good. The biscuits turned out fluffy.
Banana flips was my weakness as a child. Think back in store a yellow cake filled with your white cream and it was bent in half. Called banana flips. So good
Yalls home is going to be so beautiful when yall get done with the remodeling... I'm seeing farmhouse style... Good evening from Arkansas.. Everyone have a safe and Blessed night

I remember banana flips. My great grandfather sold them in a rural country store. I’m 65. They were baked kind of round, spread with banana flavored cream, and flipped into a half moon.
Banana Flip cakes were made by Kerns. I think they were out of Tennessee. Later on, Little Debbie did a version. They were absolutely amazing, as only a 1970's childhood memory can be. ❤
