Nice comparison video and it really shows you how far upper budget to midrangers have gotten. To me, this comparison shows that the A34 is the better deal. Unless you just are obsessed with cameras specs which I think people focus on way too much. If you want professional cameras, you get a Nikon camera. Not a smartphone because no phone will have pro level cameras. I also believe that the A34 will age a lot better than the A54 just because Exynos chipsets aren't known for real world performance or optimization. I really wish Samsung would make an exclusive snapdragon 7 gen series for their A30/A50 series. But of the two, I do think the A34 with that Mediatek Dimensity 1080 will be able to handle more and maintain long term consistency on its performance.
If I were getting one I'd go with the a34. Because you get most of the same experience for $100 less. Plus I am not a fan of Exynos processors. On paper it may say its more powerful but I'm betting in real life the specs don't tell the whole story. In my experience mediatek dimensity processors are superior to exynos. Especially with battery and performance optimization.
Thanks for these A34 and A54 videos. I'm trying to decicde between these 2 at the moment. In my country the A34 is only available in 6 Gig/128 Gig flavour but the A54 is only available in 8 Gig/256 Gig flavour but also includes a limited time offer for free Buds Live. Also only green and black colours are available for both - I would have liked the blue colour but I guess it will have to black (graphite) because the lime colour doesn't apeal to me. Your comments on the similar performance between the two just make it harder to decide. :)
Where are you buying your devices from? You can buy from Amazon or third party dealers on-line. Just asked your mobile phone provider if they support the frequency bands for 4g Lte and 5g from that dealer on the particular device your interested in. (Each phone model supports different bands but not all bands, you need to ask) I live in America and I bought a Samsung A52s that is not sold in America. Unfortunately the frequency bands for the 5g on my device are not supported by my current phone provider but I was okay with that. Everything else is was exactly what I was looking for in a mid range mobile device. It's actually still a great phone
@@Jo3W3st Amazon isn't available directly in South Africa (yet). @user-ye7sm8kb6g not a big difference also a34 charging 5 minutes faster than a54 I see another video talking about this point and a34 I think it's awesome value for money it's cost now 260$
If the a54 had a snapdragon, that will be my option but I grabbed the a34 for cheaper with free storage upgrade and free power brick. Bought it as a secondary phone but the battery of this is wonderful.

If I want an everyday phone for taking great photos of my holiday (once a year) or everyday stuff, a long battery life, a processor which performs admirably above average, loud speakers that I can hear my wife/boss ringing me in London public transport would a Galaxy A34 suffice than an A54? Help me to choice😭. I really like the camera of A54, the reason why I want to upgrade to midrange because of better camera. Lot of people A34 is better when it comes to gaming, because of its chipset. Which one is fit or good for me? Thanks in advance
In the US no one is buying an A54 full price, in fact you can generally score one for $250 or less with trade-in so it's no brainer making it easily the better buy.
I don't think it's really that much of an upgrade besides the camera module being different and updated software. Maybe it's a little bit faster. But nothing very drastic to upgrade to.
Oh ya ... I gotta get a , a54 5G big time cause galaxy a03s is downgrade even tho it's a impressive for updates on Android 11,12,13 but I gotta have more storage and not a lot of laggy so galaxy a54 5G if not then hopefully metro get galaxy a54 & 34
If u want a smoother and just a better quality experience for 2 years the you should go for the A54, but the A34 is not much different from the A54 so honestly both will perfectly last you 2 years, so if u want a cheaper phone the A34 is also a great option!
Iphone have big notches for years now and hardly does hear customers complaining about it but Samsung customers does complaining about some ridiculous things boy
Don't really think it's gonna affect it too much, the battery life will probably still be better on the a34 since exynos chips are inefficient. And with the price difference you can geg a brick and a cover and still spend less on the a34
Turned that off. It’s just a gimmick for me. I don’t scroll fast and games don’t play 120fps on both device so why bother having it on? For smoother transitions, well I am not closing and changing apps every second and I am saving a battery.

Its not a better battery. The screen is bigger so it obviously needs a bigger battery.

If only they had wireless charging on that a54 👀
Might wait to see how the Samsung s23 fe drop later this year idk about the chip difference? I'm really liking both phones outlook right now
It is unlikely to be released since there was no S22 FE.
They won't released that because its too late to released and the sales of that will be low so... its a waste of money and time for Samsung doing that
