Sharma is perfection. The technique, the control, the hair make him the greatest climber to ever live.
AMAZING!
Great work!
Accolades for all involved, you all are masters of your trades!
I like how the info box describes the 5.15a climb as "pretty hard". How about, "pretty fuckin' impossible"?
il mondo dell'ARRAMPICATA è bellissimo, quello libero da ogni pregiudizio, che si nutre esclusivamente della forza PERSONALE per respirare la libertà derivata dalla rottura del proprio limite=) sei un grande CHRIS
Greatest climber of all time, on a beautiful route, with awesome music and amazing cinematography... freakin sick!!! Anybody know the name of the song??
chalk is there to keep your hands from sweating, the chalk itself does not improve friction. The only way up the climb is on the holds that are on the wall, because those are the only holds there.
how is this man such a beast...
Would you say Sharma is better now than he was a few years ago, or do you think Sharma was a better climber when he was younger?
Nice explanation. Is flashing doing the route on your first attempt with beta?
Is it still a red point if the quickdraws are already in place?
adam is just what chris was
and he just taking what was there for him and working with it
This is so cool!
I wish I knew how the photographer got up there, how his ropes were all set-up, and what he was sitting on? Using a regular climbing harness to sit-on would eventually cut-off the circulation in my legs and very painful to get the circulation back into my legs.
Chris Sharma is a beast
I don't really understand the last part of the video. He asks for a sling, they give him a quickdraw and then I don't really see what he does with it... Could someone explain it to me?
Forgive me, but I'm pretty new at climbing. Doesn't the fact that all these holds have chalk on them already make it easier to choose your line?
Ok...thank you all for the response. I just didn't understand if the difficulty on a wall had anything to do with FINDING your holds. With the chalk already on the wall, you don't have to strategize, just grab the nearest chalk colored hold.
ho got the hooks in the rock? a free climber with a hammer?
Music in the first segment is?
who is chris sharma ?
AMAZING FINGER RESISTANCE
@petzlcrew i totally notice that it's garage band now! i can't not pay attention to that
sharma is probably at his best now but hes also older and not getting as much done i guess... then again hes still putting up 15s so hes the man... ondra is starting to really step up beyond what sharma has done though and i think that is real cool as well... who knows what ashima will bring the to table in a couple years
3:43 what an awsome hold!
nice 4K video
@totujm its not a bolt its just a chalky hold
probably using it when going down and cleaning the rock from chalk, so that he stays close to rock (since it is a negative)
@annaexpress
he is a bad ass!!!
the chalk is there from his and other s previous attempts..not much you can do to prevent it other han rain to wash it off.
I prefer chris sharma ...he is more relaxed on the rock than adam ondra ....adam ondra climbs too hectic ..but still one of the best climbers in the world
First ascending was made by Ramon Julian
da hat es aber partiel geschneit, oder? ;-)
@slayerguitar Are you serious? O_o
They chalk the holds to concentrate on the moves, not in search what to grab
"Do you have a sling for me?"
hehehe
sharma has just sometging special that makes you want to climb and see all his ascents and adam ondra dont have that
He just use it to clip next bolt.
This climb it's made only for the film.
@slayerguitar dan osman was impressive because of his solo climbing but as far as the ability to climb hard, technical, and powerful, dan osman didn't even come close to sharma. you can't even compare the two.
waw!!
Ramon Julian was the first !!!!!!!!!
Dude...Enzo Oddo has already repeated this route and one or two other 5.15s!
No it wasn't It was made by Alex Huber.
...and he's only 16!
@hatedrivesus
pff like adam doesn't project new lines lol
mmm bonito
Yeah, one upon a time an army of tiny mouses where pickpocketing our foodbag while we were climbing. :) Getting more valueable things stolen is not so funny.
Very excellent climbing !!

"Pretty hard"
ルートにはピトンがボルトが既にあってカラビナが垂れ下がってるでしょ。これ登っている本人よりもルート開拓者がすごいと思うけどな。
Crimp and don't look down.
minute 137 he stepped bolt hanger !
@albyzazarock4ever Reading comment me buy dictionary!
people talk about their hands sweating, im the freak who's feet sweat >.>
anyone else see him cheat and step on the blot?
he actually have to follow that line , because these holds are the only way to get up there , and thus get this rating ( these holds are LA RAMBLA). Chalking up hold before helps friction too .
I love how this official channel has videos in 240p
