Honestly, the questions matter little since he was so good at answering them if that makes sense. They may have asked him dumb questions, but he still expanded on it to give them solid responses.
"And Paul Allen. I killed Paul Allen with an axe in the face, his body is dissolving in a bathtub in Hell's Kitchen. I don't want to leave anything out here. I guess I've killed maybe 20 people, maybe 40. I have tapes of a lot of it, uh some of the girls have seen the tapes. I even, um... I ate some of their brains, and I tried to cook a little. Tonight I, uh, I just had to kill a LOT of people."
To me, the most fascinating detail mentioned here is his mention of "fans" complaining about the Blood on Ice insert. It just seems insane that these fools were so concerned with projecting this "son of satan" image onto him that they either failed or simply refused to realize how this very text highlighted the impressive lengths he went to, the sheer dedication and commitment it took for this man to succeed not only at producing music under those conditions... But also at making something that got people to care so much about it in the first place. Fucking hell, talk about missing the forest for the trees :/ I really hope those people have since grown and matured enough to regret leveling such criticism at him, especially after it became no longer possible to apologize in the traditional fashion.
it’s like a little store, usually one person is behind it all and still talk about “we” or “us”. i think is the band thing, the bathory, if he said “i” would sound like his solo career or quorthon himself.
@ZeitgeisterMusic Can you write all the interview please? I've heard the "blood of Jesus and bla bla bla (xD)..." and I wanna know all Quorthon said! :)
Although Varg put albums out while in prison, this was 4-5 years after the Burzum craze in Europe. Plus he was asked about what he was into, not what bands he knew.
@@outis439-Aquorthon was intelligent and also was using the evil themes as an act; Mayhem were as we know pretty legitimate in their evil dark side and also not so intelligent. It’s no wonder they didn’t get along
Quorthon , was a VISIONARY and quit frankly was way ahead of his time ! Not to mention very humble , honest and contrite !
The audio quality could be a early bathory album itself...
i love his voice
Yes.
Same💗♾♥️🖤❤️🔥♥️
Awesome. RIP, Quorthon. Long live the legacy of Bathory.
his voice is like ASMR
a glimpse into god's personality

How come there is no live footage of bathory
There were no live concerts
bathory was a studio project.
Such an intelligent being
he keeps saying we? who's we it was just him
Luis Martinez there was some early members , a drummer for example on the first album
His dad.
Pretty sure he's referring to himself and "Boss"

"Hasnt been a good album released since late 60s early 70s" haha I feel this way now but late 80s early 90s.

"Kvårton"
He said he wasnt current on metal bands then named burzum.

Quorthorn met those black metal guys. Apparently Dead didn’t like him.
