    I like the idea of giving up both knights, but Bobby taught me that sometime, it's worth it, if you have a end game to go with it. That's the key right there. That's what I got from this game. Very cool checkmate!

    I just remember it is Valer that like to say bishop to the e7 and Knight to the d3.

    YOU CAN SAY EVERYTHING YOU WANT BECAUSE IT IS AIREADY DONE. REMEMBER, THEY MOVED FAST AND AIMOST CAICUIATED. OPPONENT IS UNDER PRESSURE SO THERE IS NO TIME TO THINK OVER AND OVER AGAIN. CHAIIENGE BOBBY IF YOU WANT.

  • @Eleuthero5

    I have a request. When you declare a move, you say stuff like "Bishop to the e7". The words "to the" are useless. It's just "Bishop e7".

    • @1SpudderR
      @1SpudderR 4 роки тому

      Eleuthero5 Hmm? He should know that......just move on to where they do....If not suffer more “to the”.....It took the Chess industry long enough to move on from the antiquated denominations......to the, As now sensible abbreviations. Time is short enough!

      @@ognyanstrelkov3773 then take twice e6 because the queen will not guard the e6 square anymore if the queen will take on c7 square

    • @ognyanstrelkov3773
      @ognyanstrelkov3773 4 роки тому

      John Harold Narvaez it doesn’t achieve anything. If anything you have given the black queen a semi open file.

  • @aymakam3789

    why didn't black just played in 37:51 ..... h6 and kick the white knight away ??

    • @iChess2
      @iChess2  7 років тому

      Black doesn't want to move the pawns in front of the king unless absolutely necessary. Doing so would create weaknesses in the defence that White could exploit. And once a pawn goes forward, it can't go back - the weakness would be irreparable.

    • @aymakam3789
      @aymakam3789 7 років тому

      There is no need to fear weakness with playing.....h6 especially the f7 pawn is still there and the position is totally equal at that moment and there is no direct threat to avoid !!! !!!! letting the knight in g5 and waiting like that is very dangerous cause it makes the threat of checkmate available at any moment and the possible tactics available to white are devastating ever after like exactly what happened.

    • @iChess2
      @iChess2  7 років тому

      Maybe not an immediate threat, but the weakness is created nonetheless. Still, that knight looks dangerous and needs to be dealt with at some point!

      After Nxe6 by white, where he stopped the first game in the video and said you just resign here, you have white up a piece. If black tries to take the piece back with Qxe6 and hope for a queen trade, white has Qxb7+ which forces Ke8 and then Qxa8+ and now white is up way too much material.
      So then you can’t actually recapture the knight on e6 with the queen - it loses immediately. So white just remains up a piece, and black has to scramble to find the best move - but frankly black has no realistic way to create any threats, and Qxb7+ is still something that has to be defended.
      Trying to defend this while dealing with all of the possible threats and forced queen trades by white afterwards against a prodigious chess player while still down a piece? A virtually impossible task. (there are only two ways to defend I believe that don’t have a forced mate in 10, from a cursory check with an engine, and even then the position is +8 or more in whites favor, which is crazy high).

    ahh..in chess IT IS IMPOSSIBLE to set traps..what you inaccurately describe is ability....if i am the greater player...obviously so..how in hell can a weaker player set up a trap...when the truth of the game is in the move?

    Err, ah, you might want to tell us which side is, like, Bobby. Like the title says its about Bob's traps so we MIGHT want to know from beginning, black? white? So I stopped watching. Hope he knows chess better than video commentary.
