Oprah is a snake. Taraji spoke about the disrespectful amount she offered for the CURRENT movie, the Color Purple. The original movie came out in 1985. If Oprah really made 35,000 for her role as Sophia, 40 YEARS ago. She shouldn't expect ppl to work for that salary in 2024. Especially someone like Taraji, who had an impressive filmography. It due to Taraji’s greed. She thinks too highly of herself. Her gripe is NOT the same as Monique’s. They wanted Monique to work for free! Taraji has a net worth of $12 million! If she can’t live a good life on that, she’s trying to live well above her means and she isn’t managing her finances well. I walked into the Color purple theatre on 2 separate occasions and there was only ONE couple in there both times!…… A whole theatre for TWO PEOPLE! The Color Purple didn’t make as much money as Taraji thinks. And she MUST account for the global box office! Hollywood makes more money in China alone than the US.
