My 41 year old daughter still has her 'well loved' 40 year old cabbage patch, Im re-restoring, (our dog in 1995 ripped her to shreds I did major work on her then). Im stealing your eye idea, its wonderful thank you for this, cabbage patch moms & nanas thank you!
Omg I've been trying to find a way to restore my Preemie for over a year now. Much like yours he is 38 yrs old and "very loved" lol. your video is so amazing it's the only one I've seen that I feel comfortable following. I can't wait to see how he turns out. Thank you so much.
That's awesome! I don't usually post videos, but I told my husband, "If it helps one person...." Good luck with your preemie! I'd love to see his transformation!
Thank you so much for the eye tutorial! I have been desperately trying to figure out how to restore my cpk’s missing eyes. I am not very techy, i would love to pay you to make me those decals 🙏🏽❤️ you would seriously be granting me a 38 year long wish i have had.
Thank you! I'm not really looking into doing orders. You just need the right kind of paper to run through your printer. It's called waterslide decal paper.
She looks so good! My cabbage doll is black. I want to give her a good bath but I don’t want to risk accidentally lightening her brown skin. Do you think your bath solutions would lead to any bleaching? It doesn’t look like it but I want to be extra cautious. She was my everything.
The bath I gave her was all color safe laundry products, so you should good there. If you're worried, I would recommend a spot test, maybe on her backside. But I think only the developer would be an issue. It sounds like you wouldn't be doing that step, though. Happy bathing!
You don't use a heater with hydrogen peroxide. You use an ultraviolet light or simply set it in the sunlight all day. It's the ultraviolet light that activates the peroxide.
I saw a couple UA-camrs try retrobriting with hot water or a heat lamp, so that's why I tried the heater. (Figured there was no UV involved when mixing that developer with bleach for my hair, so why not?) I only used the heater. No UV at all under my desk or outside at that time of year. The heater got me excellent results, and she still looks great. All I can do is share my experience.

Can you tell me where you found the image of the eye you used for the decal? I’ve Google images search and only come up with dolls.
I Googled images until I found a doll that looked like mine but with good eyes. I printed the photo and just cut around the eyes.

Hello!❤
How do you make waterside decals
You have to buy special waterslide decal paper for your printer.
She’s so cute
Hi
What is a preemie i always hear people say that
Preemie means premature. Usually a premature baby is smaller, so the CP preemie is a smaller baby doll.
@@cherylgore5324 Thank you and by the way you did a really good job restoring that baby

REAL DANGEROUS KIDS GOT BITTEN
No, Noria was "born" in 1985. The Snacktime dolls didn't come out until 1996. I never had one of those.
