So Nolan didn't predict the black hole. Nobel Prize winning astrophysicist Kip Thorne advised on the film and was an executive producer. He provided equations to Double Negative to design the blackhole. Hence the accuracy. The depiction was so accurate that cosmologists and astrophysicists were able to use it to make new discoveries about blackholes.

Fun fact: This movie caused 2 research papers to be written and published in the scientific community. The CGI for the singularity is literally a mathematic formula for a black hole given to them by actual scientists. They plugged the exact formula into their CGI and the result is what you see in this movie. It confirmed a lot of theories astrophysicists held, which resulted in 2 research papers being written and published in the scientific community.

That's awesome. The harmonies of Interstellar's soundtracks resound with beauty. And let me recommend to you a hidden cinematic treasure called *SUNSHINE* 2007. It delves into existential depths, immersing you in a melancholic wonder of haunting melodies and captivating sound design. Watch in a dark room as the mesmerizing visuals transcend. I cannot explain the feeling of awe existential dread and terror I felt watching

The way I think of the black hole scene is that first, coop cant change the past, nor can he directly influence the future. He can manipulate the environment within any particular "present time" but he cannot directly impact that moment to then change the futures outcome ( which would explain to me how time travel through worm holes are possible and what you are bound to). In this theory cooper also has access to infinite time as well and the freedom to move within that time at the cost of being in the black hole and further losing time within relation to the world back on earth. " cant you see, we brought ourselves" each individual is the being that is able to manifest and create their own reality. And the reality is that whether we think that it may be or not time is the single greatest resource to each person. The most rewarding thing we have and yet the single one thing we constantly lose more of than anything else. This movie is a 10/10... maybe because I saw it at a vulnerable time in my life or maybe its because it feels so personal in a way. Only time will tell.

37:05 What Nolan wants to tell is that, if you feel loved by someone, you can't use scientific means to calculate how much it is in a formulatic way to determine stuff.
And if you have used scientific ways and it is not enough to make a conclusive decision, then you can only add to that by using the other things like trust, love, faith, going with guy instinct. And in many cases in life, you don't have all the data in ventures that human has never been in.

Hello Kot & Ket!😊 Nice to see you guys! I knew Ket would be teary for this emotionally moving film.😢 It is crazy that it is actually people from the future that knew what needed to be done to save the human race, and found a way to do something about it.🤯 Matt Damon (Mann) plays a much nicer guy staring in another space film "The Martian" (2015). This is a very uplifting film with another actor shown here, Jessica Chastain who plays the grown version of Murph. Great reactions to this well made doomsday film, Pillow Hero Kids!!!!🎬👏👏👏👏

The events in the tesseract are based on the idea of God’s time. This was conceived by Boethius (480-524) in his book, "The Consolation of Philosophy," considered one of the most important works of medieval philosophy. To explain how God’s omniscience can be reconciled with human free will, Boethius said that all time, for God, exists simultaneously (because God exists outside of time). Inside the tesseract, Cooper experiences God’s time, which suggests that the fifth-dimensional beings (i.e., our future selves) have evolved to a godlike state. The idea may be even older: in Virgil’s “The Aeneid” (19 BC), Aeneus visits the land of the dead, where he sees all the dead, past and future. This conception of God’s time is still held today by many Evangelicals and other Christian sects.

One of my favorite movies but two questions bother me:
    1) Why would they visit the time travel planet first?
    2) Why wasn't Brand old or dead at the end like Murph was?

    • @scottie3264

      1. Miller's planet (first planet) was the first to send back a thumbs up, and it was the closest, she saw water and initially sent feedback but died within minutes of landing.
      2. Brand aged exactly as Coop, they visited Miller's planet (add 23+ years), then when they pulled the slingshot maneuver they added another 51 years, so that's why they were approximately 120 sum years old.

    • @TomBombadil89

1.) still doesn't make sense to visit the planet first when the thumbs up would've been sent like minutes ago from the surface of the planet.
2.) wouldn't Coop have experienced more time dilation than Brand since he actually went into the black hole?
