Enjoyed your podcast Molly and Kathy…loved everything you showed…congratulations on hitting 5K by your 10th podcast…that was super…wishing you the best and happy stitching ❣️
I absolutely love to watch the both of you, you both do beautiful work and are very talented ladies. Molly I hope your feeling better soon. Happy stitching !!!!!!
Thank you ladies, another fun sharing of time with your both. I love that you do paper and fabric bits and I get very excited when your reminder pops up for a video. A good vibe between you both and just fun to watch. Thank you for the Christmas in July videos lots of fun. Roll on autumn next. :). Thank you as always. :)
I have thoroughly enjoyed your Christmas in July series. Although I can't imagine what else you may have to show closer to the season, I wouldn't mind seeing everything again! Spending time with you is fun because of your relationship, which comes across each minute. The food has been a bonus during these parties!
Just have to tell ya…I made a thread bed. Wasn’t sure if I would use it but gotta say ladies I am CONVERTED!!! Oh ya and Molly..I bought my ‘dots’ to stick beside my threads..such a great idea. You two are just super!
I love your beautiful work. Thanks for sharing. The Santa kits are gorgeous! And a new Halloween one? I would love one of the sampler books to document my work. You are both so talented!
Such fun watching your shares - goodness, some real beauties. Kathy, your work should be in a magazine at least the cover, and that special frame! Molly, your sweet laugh just tickles me and you have some real creativity in your finishing. Gonna try your cake recipe. Until the next visit!
Wish I was your neighbor ☺️. Luv, luv, luv, your crafts. So entertaining. I really need your inspiration. My creative mojo has been lacking. The cake is a must make.
Ladies, I have watched every video and they just keep getting better! Molly, it's great to hear you start to see the talent you have and that is growing! And I LOVE the blend of stitching and paper. Finally something to do with all that scrapbooking stuff I have from years ago.
Oh my! I loved stitching Winter Rose Manor but Kathy yours just knocked it out of the park. Beautiful. Now I need to do Yes Virginia. Love it. And Molly, I'm envious of your finishing creativity. AND I absolutely love you two sharing your recipes.
Kathy & Molly - You were a bright light on a tough day. I think I will save your videos for early Tuesday mornings as something to look forward to. Hope you feel better, Molly. Vertigo is no fun. You amazed me today. Wishing you both all good things!
I love your finishes. I always smile while watching your videos. You compliment each other. Molly, I sometimes stitch to the end if my thread. There are several variations of a tool to pull the short tails under your stitches. They look like a long wire doubled over with a small handle. I run it under some stitches on the back, place the tiny tail in the "eye" and pull thru. Kathy, I would love to hear about some gadgets you have come across over the years. Thank you ladies for a fun video filled with beautiful finishes.
Carolyn, I am so sorry for the late response. Thank you so much for the tool info and for watching. I want to learn more about Kathy's tips and tools, so I hope we can talk her into sharing...teeheehee.
Ladies, I can't possibly express how much I've enjoyed your Christmas in July series. What fun and seeing all your beautiful pieces. Very praiseworthy!
Loved the Christmas in July parade of finishes! Beautiful work! Molly...hope you feel better soon. Vertigo is no joke... Need to go find that cake recipe now as it sounded amazing! Happy Stitching!
It is always so much fun to spend an hour or so with the two of you. Molly, I love your cute pieces you have shared and I hope you are feeling better soon. Kathy, thank you for all your knowledge and beautiful stitching.
Molly - You don’t need a “tool” to pull in those short tail ends - just make a loop of thread with the loop at the spot where you want to pull in your floss tail. Put the floss end inside the thread loop and tug on the thread ends to slide the floss under your cross stitches. This was a tip on a Jean Farish you tube video. I’m pretty sure she called it a lasso. Jean is a great needlework educator and has a ton of useful tips! If I can find the right video I will forward the link…
Fun video ladies. The samplers are stunning and in such beautiful frames. Very cute Christmas finishes and WIPS. And great job on the fabric dying. You both are an inspiration with your talents!!
Petite treasure braid is a great substitute for Krienik and the crazy DMC Metallic. I haven't tried Diamont. Joann fabrics has a toll called a knit picker. It's a teeny tiny latch hook, you run it under the stitches on the back and you can pull the smallest length thread through. It's one of my favorite tools! Thank you ladies!
Thank you so much, Edwena, for watching and the great suggestions. I need to give Petite Treasures a try. I love bling and shiny things but that first gold thread did not work well for me at all. Am having much better luck iwth the Diamont. Thanks again for the tips...now I'm off to buy some Petit Treasures...teeheehee.
My head is spinning from all your creativity and talent! Thanks for inspiring so many. I love all your little word plays, cultural references, and humor added in! Happy stitching and hope you feel better soon, Molly.
You two are just so much fun, I can just imagine the laughter and good times you must have hanging out together. Plus, you're in Texas, the best state in the country !!!!! I miss San Antonio so much, hopefully one day I will get to come back. Thank you for sharing all of your beautiful stitching, crafting, recipes, and friendship.
So much fun watching you ladies. Wish I could be your neighbor, you are so enjoyable. I live about 2 hours from The Attic and it is on my bucket list to visit. Your Christmas stitching is just wonderful!
I enjoyed seeing all you had to show today! Oh I hope your vertigo subsides, Molly! Bless you for carrying on with it! Your stitching is beautiful, ladies! Thanks for sharing it! 🧵🪡✂️♥️

Hi Molly &Kathy I just love everything as usual 💕 so much fun! Molly your Christmas finishes are fabulous! Kathy love your finish and the frame is perfection! P.s. evert time I hear Molly call you ladybug 🐞 It makes me remember my dear sweet Aunt Corie Barlow. She used to call me 🐞 ladybug all the time!. I have not heard anyone use that term in ages! It's such a sweet term of endearment.
Oh Molly, so sorry you are under the weather, so to say. Loved this last episode of Christmas in July! The two of you are fun to listen to as I stitch, and you are the perfect pair of neighbors. We should all have neighbors like the two of you. Back to my stitching and see you the next time!
Love your floss tube channel, Molly and Kathy. I love cross stitch (and miniature petitpoint) and have recently discovered floss tube. It is great to be able to see what others are doing who have the same interests as I do. Happy stitching
Thank you so much for sharing! Your Christmas in July has been delightful and so fun to see all of your different stitches. I have loved seeing the catalog books you have made and the Santa scissor blocks are just darling! Thanks again!

I love Your videos I have learned a lot by watching and it has made me want to buy a lot of patterns I hope you get to feeling better Molly take care see you next time
I’ve enjoyed your Christmas projects. I use the Star De-tailer from 123 Stitch for pulling short threads under. I found that a while ago and use it a lot.
Love love your videos, I really enjoy your humor. You both keep a smile on my face for the entire time. Kathy I would love to buy a block kit from you. Not sure how to go about it but I am going to email Molly because I don't see yours. Thanks for the the great time.
That special tool that pulls your thread through is called a detailer...you should be able To find it on Etsy. Now, please tell me what color of thread you used on the Bells on Christmas Day?? Thank you for sharing all of your FFO's!! Beautiful!! HAPPY STITCHING TODAY AND EVERYDAY IN 2022!!
Karen, I am so sorry for the late response. The DMC colors I am using are 4025, 4045 and Blanc. Thank you so much for watching and the sweet comment. Happy stitching!
Teeheehee...Kathy was wishing her mom a happy birthday., not me..but I'll take well wishes whenever I can get them....I'll just save it away till my Birthday in January. Thank you so much for watching.
Ladies, I enjoy your videos so much. Ms. Molly I pray your vertigo goes away quickly and you feel better soon. I too have vertigo and it isn't for the faint of heart. I can't wait to try all the recipes. Hugs & Blessings from Tennessee.
Thank you so much, Robin for the well wishes. That bout held on almost a week. Think of all the stitching I could have done instead...teeheehee. I hate that you suffer with it. You are so right about it not being for the faint at heart. Thanks so much for watching!
What fun you two have!!!!!! I would love to be your neighbor!!!! You need to crash the Attic during Summer School so I can meet you and all the other students can too!!!! I loved stitching with you today 😘
Loved seeing your Christmas in July. I have that Words of Praise Nativity sampler hanging over my sofa year round - stitched in 1991! Molly, I hope you feel better soon - you’re very dedicated to have filmed while you didn’t feel well.
The first FFO shown by Kathy which is Merry Christmas and I found the pattern and it is by Dutch Treat Designs. Kathy changed the gold stars to dark green. Beautiful, you gals keep up the good work. You should also watch the 911 Stitcher and Vickie the Virginia Stitcher and the Colorado Cross Stitcher.
Loved seeing all the things. You were talking about a tool that can pull threads through your Stitching. The one I have is called a "Star Detailer". I use mine a lot for those times I can't turn my needle to pull the thread through at the end.
Molly...you are more thank welcome...I was happy to send the box to you. Cant wait to see how it turns out. Hope you are feeling better soon. Love your dye experiments. Kathy your antique Halloween motif sampler is coming out awesome.
Oh my gosh! I just found you two and I’m in love (in a friendly, not creepy, way, lol)! I really enjoyed how you two interact. The Christmas finishes you showed - wow! I’m happy if I get a project finished into a pillow or stuck in a frame, but the embellishments you add really make your stitching shine! Kathy, that Halloween pumpkin you’re stitching is fantastic! Molly - I’m adding those alphabet books to my wishlist! Oh ladies, I enjoyed visiting with you both so much! I’ll be back for sure. Have a wonderful couple of weeks.
Oh my gosh, YES!! Come to The Attic during Summer School. I’ll be there and would love to meet you two!! I do enjoy your little get together!! Such beautiful things and such talent!
I love that Scarlet Letter Kathy did. ❤ the glass also seems to be more diffuse, glare is less, what glass is that please? And Molly, I'm with you on 14 count aida ❤ I'm a new stitcher here, so that's making me happy 😊

Back in the 80’s we had lift n snip scissors to cut out threads. I don’t know if they still make them though.
Ladies, I can't possibly express how much I've enjoyed your Christmas in July series. What fun and seeing all your beautiful pieces. Very praiseworthy!
