Went with the A55, mainly for the slightly better stabilisation in video (though I prefered the wider colour spectrum with the Pixel, you could more clearly see the yellows in the plants in the grass, where the Samsung was a more uniform and darker green, lacking subtlety), the low light, macro and better 'zoom' crop quality and I found myself being guilty of liking the less natural, brighter, slightly more colourful shots of the Samsung, aware I can tone them down in post if need be. Not happy that I preferred the exaggerated shots from the Samsung but, there you go! I felt some of the Pixel shots, though they looked great, looked a little overshaprened compared to the Samsung which at times looked certainly a little soft, but yeah, still looked great. The Pixel's selfie cam looked massively better than the Samsung but that's not a feature I can see myself using; actually, the Samsung A35's camera seems to be massively better for selfie video, if that's important to you. The Samsung is one solidly built (pretty heavy, too heavy?) phone! Thanks for the review, I came back and re-watched this one, definitely one of the most helpful comparison reviews out there. I appreciate you.
Hat off for a honest review, it's all about the main sensor, do yourself a favor and buy yourself some phone lenses 18mm and 58mm and you will get a result that is much better.
Hello, can you advise me? Between Pixel 8a and Samsung a55, which device gives better experience and photography? I've been following you for a long time and hope you can give me some advice. I want the device to be cool, stable for a long time and take good photos
One thing I don't like about Samsung's processing is that if you look really close at barely visible small text in the image or just at small details in general, the image seems AI generated. On many other phones you can often discern the faint small text, but on Samsungs it often just a blurry blob.
that night shot of pixel in a very pitch black surrounding is a deal breaker ngl. but pixel defo far way better than the other in terms of camera in its all aspect
Pixel is amazing (with a worse sensor). I think samsung a56 would be unbeatable next year if this is the progress. Does the pixel still have 4k video recording limit?
The pixel has a more natural camera, and I already know the multi core and single core scores are higher on the pixel so I'm not gonna go back to Galaxy A
People always get the wrong idea about flagship and mid-range phones. If you have ever used a flagship phone, you will never compare it with a mid-range one. There's no match, no matter what theories you guys propose. Companies like apple, google, and samsung release flagships designed to stay ahead of time. You will never see a single mid-range phone using a Li-ion battery, an powerful processo or advanced sensors like Samsung ISOCELL. If you pick up a flagship phone from 2021 by samsung, apple, or google, you will see that the A55 is no match for them. People who are saying 8a is on par with the a55 have never tried any flagship phones in their whole life
Pixel 6 camera is far more superior than a55, because samsung uses cheap sensor in their mid range phones, pixel has flagship level sensor which is gn1
i want the pixel 8/8a but the price here is way off. $750 pixel compare to $315 A55. its more than doubled

Nice comparison. But, bro, I was waiting for 8a vs S23 fe.. would you do it later?
8a will easily win because S23 fe has a smaller sensor
A55👍
Do Pixels 8 series produce HEIF / HEIC image format?
Can you make something with S23?
The pics are just slightly different. Otherwise they are literally the same level of quality to me

The pixel has a more natural camera, and I already know the multi core and single core scores are higher on the pixel so I'm not gonna go back to Galaxy A
do video camera compare pixel 8a vs pixel 3a ... please brother.....
I'm yet to see Samsung cameras that know how to properly deal with exposure. Better to use a gcam mod

The price is different
Should be s21fe/s23fe

Pretty much ANY rechargeable battery is a Lithium Ion battery... That's not reserved for flagship smartphones
Pixel 8a is better than any other camera like iphone Samsung specially in picture
❤
Thanks! ❤️

Is pixel 6 video quality good or bad ?

@@sidhantabora9481 they improved a lot way back from previous year.
Flagship versus mid-range. Even my S22 can perform better than the A55 cause it's flagship vs mid-range.
@@Hzlnutts not s22, s20 will beat up a55 in every scenario
