I actually had to listen to this one twice. Probably one of the most powerful rap songs, at least to me you've reacted to. That line, We Rap, We don't think, really made it for me. That was always the thing about a lot of rap music that turned me off. all those songs about killing, AK this, Glock that, kill the police, was a big turnoff to me. You guys already know, I'm as pro gun as you can get, a gun in the the right hands can be a good friend, in the wrong hands, it can, and most likely will be, your worst enemy. And never ever forget the power of words. Words spoken in the wrong way can be as dangerous as a 5 year old with a AK-47, spraying destruction in every direction. And that is also true, you bring up God, some people just turn away from you. Anyway, this one rates FIVE STARS from me, Donald.

Lupe major key 🔥, but people acting like they don’t know. He described the hood perfectly in “Deliver”. The blocks may be cray, but it’s all the way real when the pizza man won’t deliver there no more.

Although it has evolved from this, I think it actually goes back to the beatboxing era of hip hop where emcees would rap in a way that mimicked the sound records would make when DJs would scratch them on the turntable. Don’t know the artists to reference off the top of my head, but I’ve certainly heard it.

This guy struggles with mental illness like a lot of people,, which is tough. That being said... his creativity, bars, videos, and honesty are his strengths. He is one of the creative goats in my opinion.

This was by far Kanye's best song . Kanye was one of the first to give Christian music a contemporary sound. There are a lot out there now and they do hit the charts. I'm telling you, you need to do Contemporary Christian music Sundays. Check out Elevation Worship, Lauren Daegle, Lacrae, Tauren Wells, Casting Crowns, Vashawn Mitchell, Jonathan McReynolds, Deitrick Haddon. There are so many out there and most of them, if you didn't pay attention to the words , you wouldn't even know they were Christian songs. That is a whole new group of subscribers waiting for you.
