Truly one of the best songs ever.
Just sat here on third listen, covered in goosebumps. I'm nearly 41 and this is like walking home with Morning Glory at 16, that very same excitement, that feeling that I get to play this to a 2 year old all night and all day tomorrow and the day after that. i'm 51... Saw them a multitude of times at small new york clubs like irving plaza...starting with the Lost Souls album... just a brilliant band! Actually my favorite of that era.

Never made a bad record. You can always tell a doves tune. They don't move too far from their roots, you can hear their unique sound in every tune. Best band ever for me.❤

I like how his voice has aged. I remeber in 2009 when I was about 16 years old, I got my first ipod and 'Kingdom of Rust' was one of the first records I got on it. Now I am 27, and Doves are once again back in my life. Missed this band so much. I have so many good memories of listening to their music at University with my friends while playing Dark Souls.

Usually, I cringe when there's a comeback, such a long time has passed. I almost couldn't bring myself to listen to this, I didn't want it to be bad. I decided to listen before I thought to much about it. I clicked play through one eye... WOW... that's... fucking... brilliant!

Doves é sensacional, underrated, conheci a primeira vez no inicio dos anos 2000, onde a MTV Brasil passava o clipe de "There goes the fear", e até hoje essa banda faz parte da minha playlist, assim comovárias do cenario britpop/ indie rock. Seu ultimo album, The universal want manteve a identidade e nivel da banda. Pouquíssimas pessoas aqui conhecem eles, é sinal que tenho um otimo gosto haha, 2024 e sigo ouvindo.

I still have the black and white doves bumper sticker I purchased during one of the early North American tours on the sun visor of my 18-year-old car. With the visor slightly lowered, that sticker has helped me find that car in every place I ever parked for almost two decades. I'd have frozen to death by now if not for this band! Welcome back!

Long time Doves fan since around 2001. Saw them live in Toronto a few times, just incredible. Glad for more great music. Finally got to England a few years ago too, including the North West, though I haven't seen them perform there yet.
