    In August 2023, Ninja released their brand new Ninja Creami Breeze NC100 ice cream maker. However, the Creami NC201 just came out a few weeks ago. How does this version stack up? Is it worth your money? Sadly, I'm not impressed with it, but it's not for the reasons you might expect. This is the fifth version of the Creami in 2 years, and with this version, it appears that Ninja Kitchen may be moving in the wrong direction. Check out this video and you'll be able to see why!

      Yep.... That's what I'm talking about. I wouldn't mind having a chute for the mixins so it can just do those for you aolutomaticlly at the end... And maybe temp sensor, so it can be set to wait to process until the pint has thawed to the right amount.

    I just started using my first and hopefully only, ninja creami Breeze. So far I'm loving it. It is super easy to clean the lid, just drop out the blade and rinse well with hot water. How many functions can one really use? And 2 cups is plenty large for 1-2 people. 😊

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  Місяць тому +1

      Agreed. I love my deluxe, but often times we eat half and put the rest back in the freezer for later anyway. And also, I only use 3 or 4 of the functions anyways.

    So I incorrectly called the NC100 the NC200 in the video a billion times. I fixed it in post at 3am, but it's sounds funny in the video.. Anyway, that's why parts sound glitchy. Sorry about that. That size drop with the Breeze is a total deal-breaker. One big reason I'm buying a Creami is cos I love making yogurt, love it semi-frozen and hate the way home yogurt-makers have tiny tiddly little pots. I could buy an original Creami here in Malaysia for 1200 ringgit, already set up for our 240 volts, and it's costing me a thumping 2300 ringgit to order from USA Amazon to get the Deluxe model. Literally my main reason for spending so much extra, plus buying a power adaptor to use the Deluxe is because it has larger containers. If I'm going through the hassle of making ice-cream I want to either pig out myself or share with my wife. Little tubs are not worth the hassle for me.

    Not sure I agree with you. They created a more basic cheaper product. I think it was a smart move to reach a different demographic. I would venture to guess the vast majority of people don't use all the different settings and probably only use 1 or 2.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  9 місяців тому

      Yep.. I hear ya.. It's still a Great machine. Just in my case, the $30 difference is worth spending to get the extra stuff on it... If they did that nc100 at something like 139, it would be a whole new ballgame for me though... As long as they can make it in volume...

    Thanks Joe!!! I have a 7in1. I don't see any reason to change. I don't mind the smaller cup size. I might have been motivated to change if the footprint size on the counter was significantly smaller. As long as mine is working fine I will stay out of the fray of rapidly pushing out new models.

    Hi Joe, I'm beginning to like your videos GREATLY, mainly because you ALWAYS say to do your OWN research 'Not just listen to Joe'. Will soon receive my new NC 200 Breeze and from everything I've seen about this machine, it should be perfect for me. See no need to have a 3 cup because it's just my Significant Other and me, and can always quickly spin another selection! I've also ordered 8 more pint containers. When I first saw the title of this video, I thought you didn't like the NC200, but have to agree with you on the NC100. I'm so sure I'll love the NC200, I probably buy another at some point just as a backup, but will wait for a great deal somewhere, not the $199 I paid. I've also on the waiting list for a spare paddle and Pint Top, but they are 'Out of Stock'. $199 is very cheap in my opinion for what the NC200 does, primarily for me to make Keto and Low Calorie, Low Carb concoctions each day. And here's a tip for your Viewers: Don't wait for an email from Ninja that your Creami is now in stock because when you then go to their website, it will be out of stock again, within 1 hour I found out. Instead, check their website 3 times a day, and you'll probably see that one time they are available for a few minutes. Quickly order it. As I say often to my friends, "No extra charge for this tip. It's all included on your Monthly Bill." Steve

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  9 місяців тому

      Lol.. Thanks, Stephen. Yeah. I liked the breeze. If they made it with the larger container, I would have been even happier... Maybe a stainless cup too.

  • @HappyBeeTV-BeeHappy
    @HappyBeeTV-BeeHappy 9 місяців тому +3

    I agree that the Breeze is the same as the original in cup size and features. And if you're gonna make variances of something it should be significantly different from each other. Bcuz basically, when people buy a machine of any kind they expect it to last a long time, many years, and my original is still working great. I bought the creami deluxe bcuz it's significantly different, with a bigger cup to make more ice cream and more features. I use both machines bcuz they offer significant variations to the concept.
    So, this Breeze, I passed on bcuz I don't need it. It's exactly the same as the original with a different cup angle and I don't need that. It's nice if it's your first machine, but certainly not to replace my original. Now, if my original breaks down, then I'll get the Breeze to replace it.

    A big plus for the breeze is the same motor as the deluxe, and a smaller paddle which puts less stress on the motor. It seems like you can't get extra cups for the breeze, only the 301/501.

    • @JoesPhenomenal
      @JoesPhenomenal  9 місяців тому +1

      You know... I''ve seen the motor info posted on the Ninja facebook group page, and I heard that there is motor info on the German Ninja Kitchen site, but I haven't really been able to verify it. All I have seen is that on Ninja's american site, all of the Creamis list the same voltage and wattage for every single machine (120v/900w i think). I don't get why that would make that so hard to check. You'd think it would be a great selling point to put that all over the box.

    I agree, something is strange with their product inventory. Releasing new models with lesser features when they can't keep their popular models in stock is odd. Seems like they are trying to stray from the PacoJet design and build it cheaper increasing their margin. The paco is a proven design with a straight shaft (NC501), so why would you change to an angled shaft (NC100/201). To reduce production costs and increase profits I bet. If the deluxe sells out as quick as you make it why even focus on another model, just make tons of them and keep it simple. I have the 501 and love it.

    I was familiar with the Pocojet and wanted one but it was cost prohibitive. I purchased the Creami when it first hit the market. Also being familiar with how Ninja does most of its products (quickly coming out with a newer version) I figured it’s a matter of time before they come out with a model that’s even more aligned with the Pocojet. I can wait and continue to use my original Creami until they do and judging from the timeline you described, they will.

    • @JoesPhenomenal

      I am waiting for 15 presets, automatic mix ins, a stainless container, more power (which would make it more quiet), and a temperature sensor where it could delay professing to allow over frozen pints to thaw to the right amount, and a return to the larger capacity with an easier to clean lid... That would be awesome. I'd pay 500 for all that stuff.

    • @JoesPhenomenal

      I haven't had that problem on any of ours, but I have seen people complain about it. That happens if the paddle comes in contact with the side of the pint container during processing. That can happen if your mix isn't level in the container, or it has a big bump in it when frozen, or also if you put something in there with high water content that freezes too hard.
