I have a fun project this weekend. Getting our old camper ready for my niece to visit for the summer. I landscaped a pretty rock path and lights hanging in the trees, a small table and chairs in the grass for her own little yard. She has a summer job lined up at a dog training facility and is going to try out a little independence as she just turned 17. I'm really looking forward to the entire summer 😊
Hi Gemma Loving the pet names and thought I would share. My old ginger girl was named Gershwin , by her previous owner ( I was her 3rd and final 😢) I called her Gershie Girl, Jazz Cat , Nurse Gersh (she was an actual healer ❤) After she passed, I got another rescue ginger girl and she was named Riom. I renamed her Eliza Doolittle. She gets called Miss Wiggles and Marilyn, due to her little bottom wiggle when she walks, baby girl, darling baby and simply Liza (Minelli) she was living rough as a tiny thing with a coven of stray cats and wasn't wanting to be a domestic creature at all. But a year later, she snuggles with me in bed and on occasion, allows me to scratch her ears and pat her. She a very nervous cat, but super cute and has recently been making the cutest purrs, while she makes biscuits on my bed. The zoomies are epic!!

Okay, I have to add our dog’s nicknames. His actual name is Leroy Parihau (parry-hoe) Henry but he gets called He-dog, He-so-hairy-boy, Sir Wiggle-alot, Mr Wiggles, Hotrod and Best Friend Brother 😄
I finally finished decorating my kitchen! Hurrah! All ready for my new oven that shall be arriving soon. Happy days! I’m so easily pleased…. Not much going on this weekend apart from a clearout of my daughter’s wardrobe. God help me 🤦♀️😩😂xx

Im making 4 batches of (gluten-free and vegan) tahini cookies as we speak. Also, when my now 17 yr-old boy was a toddler, I used to call him ‘little boy blue’. I don’t know why. But he remembers me doing so.
Omg I had a Norwegian Forrest cat too, he was all black and his name was Hobo, short for Hobocus Maximus III 😂 but we called him “gorgeous” since he was so pretty. ❤️ He was charming and quite the gentleman, but it was all like a cover in a sense since he was such a ruthless hunter. 🙈 He was like a trained assassin outside, the James Bond of cats, bringing all kinds of dead animals to the house. Sometimes even bigger than him. I miss him so much. He was with my family for about 20 years. He passed in June of last year.

If I’m out & about getting groceries and all my other errands when it’s that warm out I get too warm. Honestly, anything over 40° and I’m a sweaty mess. 😅 Have been that way all my life. That’s why I miss living where there are actual seasons. Living in Los Angeles is like year round summer. Even when it gets cooler for the Angelinos when it’s “autum & winter” 😂. Although, I’ll take any temperature that’s 70° and under instead of the 90-100° temperatures during summer. 🥵 You have me cracking up with the annoyed faces you were making. 🤭😄

We had a cat when I was growing up called Sake. When we told people his name they invariably thought it was Socky and would say something inane (in that voice people use with children) like “oh, is that because he’s got those white paws!?”… and my sisters and I would have to explain that he was actually named after the Japanese rice wine. lol 🤓
Oh geez. I was given a rescue kitty once and named her Cleo. Took her to the vet for a check up and the veterinarian said “he”. Surprised, I said “oh wow, and I gave him a girls name , Cleo”. He then turned to me and said “My dad’s name is Cleo.”😅
I adopted a tuxedo cat in the fall of 2020. He was then five months old and had a little pointed beard . Kind of like a goatee. He also could disappear like magic so I named him Merlin. His nickname is Mer the Purr.

A bobtail kitten named Norway, pet names: Norman, Normie, tiny panther, floppy-cat and pineapple kitten (I got him on a trip from hawaii and he is obsessed with canned pineapple 😂) And my sweet 12 year old Heinze 57 mutt that passed away from bone cancer a few years ago named Mouse, pet names: Meeska, Moose, Maui, and Minnie mouse. We used to joke that she was a dog that acted like a cat whose name was Mouse 😂. My daughter caught a lighting bug last night that she's holding hostage. His name has been dubbed Bart.
Hi G, hope it’s not too late for pet stories? When my friend came to stay for a visit I mentioned I haven’t seen my cat Kevin for a couple of days. She went out the front and called his name for quite a while and walked the footpath calling his name. I don’t have a cat. My neighbors asked if she was alright as they know I don’t have a cat nor a Kevin. I told them it was hard to say but maybe after a good night sleep she will be… One of the funniest things to watch and she did see the halarious side..
It's my birthday (Saturday) so I'll have weekend plans for the first time in a while 😂 Chopping off my hair for the summer (its 107 F / 41.67 C) and having dinner at a wonderful Mexican restaurant with friends. Then hopefully home and back in my pajamas by 10 🤞
I was supposed to be doing tarot readings at a local bar but it was cancelled due to low response. Out of 3 of us there were only 3 people who were coming. Sooo....i plan to get some work done around the house and get some sun.
Ohmygosh I have two feral kittens 🐈⬛🐈⬛mama Zoe and daughter Pearl 2 1/2 and 2 yrs now. I know. Mama Zo has had a rough start. Had four kittens Pearl survived. A kitten having kittens. She now walking about freely with her tail up🙌🏻✨️🙌🏻yes! We love them! Pearl is domestically friendly. Zoe is trusting us now. We can touch her front paws only OCCASIONALLY. She's a tough one to soften but we understand why. Their names are Zo Zo, Mama Zo, Tiger she moves like a 🐅, Zoe. Pearl was named by my son after The Black Pearl, and that she's rare survived🙌🏻yes! Pearl Girl Cuddle bug panther stretch...she loves to stretch, display her physique it's quite entertaining 😄 the confidence is absolutely stunning! Curious what foods people want to share what they feed their felines? Always looking to satisfy their appetite thanks in advance 🙌🏻✨️🙌🏻
I have a rabbit called Michelino (after archangel Michael), he was too small to be big Mike so he is little Michael in Italian because he’s Italian. Of course his nick names are bunny, Miki, Meekee, Cheeky Meekee, Babà, Husbun, amore, amorino, fluffy bum, wee gent (like gentleman), picclolino ❤
