I was never into makeup when I was younger but for some reason I have developed an interest in it, mainly from watching your videos. Your videos are so appealing and I look forward to each one. I have always used sunscreen and my daughters tell me I have very nice skin...for my age!!! Per your recommendation, I bought the Tarte Shape Tape concealer yesterday, and after 1 use, it's my all time favorite! I actually bought it after running out of my UD Naked Weightless, which is also a great concealer; but, costs $4 more and has literally half the product. - Anyone who is on the fence between which high-end concealer to pick up next, I can vouch that, Shape Tape is the way to go!
I third this! Lol. I've noticed a significant difference in my skin when I have some ACV every day as opposed to when I don't. I had a lot of small red bumps and texture like you've been dealing with, so this might be a good thing to add to your diet! Mix it with a glass of water so the acidity doesn't irritate your throat and drink it once a day.
Nope! It's not cakey at all. I have extremely dry skin/under eyes, as I live in Phoenix, and it's sincerely a game changer! I'll be shocked if I ever find anything to top it. :)

I too get the most compliments when I use a sheer / light coverage foundation that looks like skin . I see soo many gals over do it when it comes to foundation and they have such beautiful skin . Ride or die is the Estée Lauder double Wear light formula not the full coverage one . It's so beautiful on the skin , lasts all day , and I'm normal to dry as well , so with good prep to my skin it doesn't dry me out and I never get oily in my T zone from that foundation . Hands down the best I have ever used ❤️

+Lanae H shave balls are meant to rehydrate and empty your pores after shaving, they open up your pores and it allows any makeup you put over it to sink in so much easier than any other primer, because primers are meant to act as a protective layer on the skin.
hey! i get breakouts there too (usually it's hormonal and occurs around my period) but one thing that helps me is in the shower, being careful not to let hair conditioner get onto the area. i know you have long hair-i recommend either being super careful about letting the hair touch your chest when it has conditioner in it or just waiting to wash your body once the conditioner is rinsed out.
I have not been very lucky with the Nars radiant Creamy Concealor in Chantilly. It creases pretty badly on me, but I do love the color because it is the only concealor besides the KVD Lock it White Out concealor that is lighter than my skin.
My new ride or die lipstick is your Lumiere lippie from colourpop, btw. I love the staying power and the color. it is dark on me, but my favorite thing to do is pat Colourpop monster on top and somehow this combination makes the lipstick last forever on me. :)
I have dry skin and my eyelids are very very dry. The nars eyeshadow primer makes them look cracked and awful but for special events I use the mac shadow primer (prep & prime) and it looks smooth. It feels nice, looks great and last forever 😉
I have extremely dry skin so I have the same problem with my eyelids. I have eczema and Lupus and Sjogrens, so dry, dry and more dry, then top it off with a rare skin lymphoma that causes patchy dry areas all over my body. What works for me is the Lancome LA Base PRO on my lids. It's clear and it leaves them so soft and smooth. You only need a drop and they feel so velvety soft. I think you'll love it!!!

dear Kathleen, as a nurse I have to say most pimple type breakouts are totally hormonally based. food or detoxing(?) will cause acne/ pimples. of course stress, lack of sleep and general body depletion can be contributing factors, but I feel your sitch might really be hormone fluctuations. take care of yourself. eat well, sleep well, exercise to your liking and mainly try to chill, enjoy the company of your best buds and hubby and remember your a young, bright, lovely person. if this is seems to hippy dippy, a little benzoyl peroxide ointment( over the counter) should help dry up any real active break outs. if you wanna go old school, clearisil will work as well. love your personality and Kathy from the block vibe

Hello my dear sweet genuine delicate girl. I am watching you for a loooong time, I can be your mother, maybe older!!! LOL. Concerning your irritation, for your dry skin you should do that mask: 1 red rose, 1 tbs of rosewater , 1 tbs of fat greek yogurt and 2 tbs of raw honey. Blend them all together and apply to your face and chest. You can put the rest in the fridge and re apply at 6 hours difference , as many times as you wish. You can use it before an event also. This mask will transform your skin miraculously. Then buy the Avene Cicalfate post act cream with copper and zinc. You should have in your house permanently. After the mask apply Avene Cicalfate. Take my advice, try this mask and/ or this combo with Avene and you will thank me my dear. I am sure that one of the ingredients of that particular product ( a preservative maybe...) might have caused her the reaction. I hope she will try again a pure rosewater and she will see that she will have no reaction. Take care my dear and try the mask!!
I have heard of individuals experiencing an allergic reaction to pure rose essential oil -- that said, I don't know if different substances are extracted in essential oils versus rosewater. I'm curious, could you elaborate about that statement? It would be fascinating if a true pure rosewater contained no substances that are capable of causing histamine response. I've never heard of anything quite like that.
my ride or die makeup product has to be nude by nature's natural mineral cover. I just moisturise and prime my face and then apply the natural mineral cover (which is a powder) and then go on with the rest of my makeup. I don't often wear concealer unless its a special occasion. It's just AMAZING! Would love to see a video of you trying it out Kathleen :) love you so much, I'm addicted to your videos! xxx
I have acne. I love Clearasil vanishing acne cream. Soon as I see a pimple I put a tiny amount on and it dries out pretty quickly. Also I love your chattiness! There's no awkward quietness. Plus, it's never just nonsense it's always something helpful or interesting!
I have oily skin and although my skin is now clear, I still have acne scars. I tend to use the Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin which you can get at the drugstore. The Maybelline Fit Me covers great as well, but I feel like it doesn't control my oil even when I set it with a powder. Just my input, Good luck!
The only two foundations that cover up my acne scaring is high end: too faced born this way foundation (however it does have a slight oiliness so a little tricky if you have oily skin, I have combo and it works for me). Drug store: Loreal Lumi Cusion foundation. I apply it with a beauty blender and it covers great, i sometimes have to do a 2nd coat, but its still amazing. Those are also the only two foundations I have found that will not break out my sensitive skin too bad. Hope this helps Kelsie :)

I know this is sort of an old video, but I really love and appreciate how there isn't a single damn rstyle me or shopstyle link in the down bar. Just about every other video like this from bigger UA-camrs has those links for literally everything on their list. I have to question the authenticity and honesty of someone who only recommends something that they will make money off of. I really appreciate how you never do that to us! Also the other people never even mention that they are affiliate links and that's frustrating as hell as a viewer. I have no problem with people making money, but damn be honest about it!!
I would love to see a skincare hits and misses video, especially anti-aging products! I want to know your opinion on different skincare fads too, like the foaming face masks and shaving whole face to help make up go on smoother. Also I've always wandered if you keep up on going to get regular facials from a dermatologist or do any sort of peels and things of that nature!
Hey Kathleen, I'm an esthetician and it looks to me like your breakouts are definitely caused by something internal. Have you increased your intake of dairy or soy lately? 80% of milk comes from pregnant cows, so it's full of hormones that can be triggering for someone who is already acne-prone. (Cutting out dairy completely cleared up my severe cystic acne.) Too much soy can also throw off your hormone balance. For your face, you could try tea tree, but clearing up may be a little tricky because your skin is dry and sensitive and many acne products are drying. I'd recommending getting a facial and seeing what your skin therapist recommends. They'll have the benefit of looking under the magnifying lamp, it's harder for me to see.
For your chest, make sure you're exfoliating (I like using a body brush or scrub in the shower) and look for a spray on acne treatment, a few brands make them. If that's too drying, you could also mix alcohol free witch hazel, a few drops of tea free, and maybe some lavender water in a spray bottle and apply twice a day. Make sure to keep it really clean, and use the spray if you get sweaty and can't shower. Drink tons of water and be patient, if you're doing the right things internally it will clear up. Unfortunately that process can take up to three months...I know it's easy to look in the mirror and see everything wrong, but to the average person, it's hardly noticeable and you're still absolutely beautiful!
I always start to break out when I workout/sweat a lot. For your skin Kathleen, try peppermint oil as a spot treatment or dilute it with water, usually works overnight for me!
Besides the foundation and lash glue, all the products she picked are cruelty free! Just goes to show that you don't need to support brands that test on animals in order to get good quality makeup xxx

P.S. If you read this, I SWEAR by drinking Apple Cider Vinegar to cure acne. I do 1/2 a shot glass a night, and it's a miracle worker.

hey! i get breakouts there too (usually it's hormonal and occurs around my period) but one thing that helps me is in the shower, being careful not to let hair conditioner get onto the area. i know you have long hair-i recommend either being super careful about letting the hair touch your chest when it has conditioner in it or just waiting to wash your body once the conditioner is rinsed out.

I have not been very lucky with the Nars radiant Creamy Concealor in Chantilly. It creases pretty badly on me, but I do love the color because it is the only concealor besides the KVD Lock it White Out concealor that is lighter than my skin.
Have you tried UD concealer in fair neutral? It's perfect for me and I'm shade chantilly in Nars too
My new ride or die lipstick is your Lumiere lippie from colourpop, btw. I love the staying power and the color. it is dark on me, but my favorite thing to do is pat Colourpop monster on top and somehow this combination makes the lipstick last forever on me. :)

I have dry skin and my eyelids are very very dry. The nars eyeshadow primer makes them look cracked and awful but for special events I use the mac shadow primer (prep & prime) and it looks smooth. It feels nice, looks great and last forever 😉

I have extremely dry skin so I have the same problem with my eyelids. I have eczema and Lupus and Sjogrens, so dry, dry and more dry, then top it off with a rare skin lymphoma that causes patchy dry areas all over my body. What works for me is the Lancome LA Base PRO on my lids. It's clear and it leaves them so soft and smooth. You only need a drop and they feel so velvety soft. I think you'll love it!!!

dear Kathleen, as a nurse I have to say most pimple type breakouts are totally hormonally based. food or detoxing(?) will cause acne/ pimples. of course stress, lack of sleep and general body depletion can be contributing factors, but I feel your sitch might really be hormone fluctuations. take care of yourself. eat well, sleep well, exercise to your liking and mainly try to chill, enjoy the company of your best buds and hubby and remember your a young, bright, lovely person. if this is seems to hippy dippy, a little benzoyl peroxide ointment( over the counter) should help dry up any real active break outs. if you wanna go old school, clearisil will work as well. love your personality and Kathy from the block vibe

Concerning your irritation, for your dry skin you should do that mask: 1 red rose, 1 tbs of rosewater , 1 tbs of fat greek yogurt and 2 tbs of raw honey. Blend them all together and apply to your face and chest. You can put the rest in the fridge and re apply at 6 hours difference , as many times as you wish. You can use it before an event also. This mask will transform your skin miraculously. Then buy the Avene Cicalfate post act cream with copper and zinc. You should have in your house permanently. After the mask apply Avene Cicalfate. Take my advice, try this mask and/ or this combo with Avene and you will thank me my dear. I am sure that one of the ingredients of that particular product ( a preservative maybe...) might have caused her the reaction. I hope she will try again a pure rosewater and she will see that she will have no reaction. Take care my dear and try the mask!!
I have heard of individuals experiencing an allergic reaction to pure rose essential oil -- that said, I don't know if different substances are extracted in essential oils versus rosewater. I'm curious, could you elaborate about that statement? It would be fascinating if a true pure rosewater contained no substances that are capable of causing histamine response. I've never heard of anything quite like that.
my ride or die makeup product has to be nude by nature's natural mineral cover. I just moisturise and prime my face and then apply the natural mineral cover (which is a powder) and then go on with the rest of my makeup. I don't often wear concealer unless its a special occasion. It's just AMAZING! Would love to see a video of you trying it out Kathleen :) love you so much, I'm addicted to your videos! xxx

I have acne. I love Clearasil vanishing acne cream. Soon as I see a pimple I put a tiny amount on and it dries out pretty quickly.
Also I love your chattiness! There's no awkward quietness. Plus, it's never just nonsense it's always something helpful or interesting!
What foundation would you recommend for those of us with acne scarring?
The makeup forever ultra hd foundation is incredible! Comes in lots of different shades and it literally covers every scar on my face so well.
I have oily skin and although my skin is now clear, I still have acne scars. I tend to use the Revlon ColorStay Foundation for Combination/Oily Skin which you can get at the drugstore. The Maybelline Fit Me covers great as well, but I feel like it doesn't control my oil even when I set it with a powder. Just my input, Good luck!
Color correcting under concealer/foundation is the only thing I've found to work ♡
The only two foundations that cover up my acne scaring is high end: too faced born this way foundation (however it does have a slight oiliness so a little tricky if you have oily skin, I have combo and it works for me). Drug store: Loreal Lumi Cusion foundation. I apply it with a beauty blender and it covers great, i sometimes have to do a 2nd coat, but its still amazing. Those are also the only two foundations I have found that will not break out my sensitive skin too bad. Hope this helps Kelsie :)

I would love to see a skincare hits and misses video, especially anti-aging products! I want to know your opinion on different skincare fads too, like the foaming face masks and shaving whole face to help make up go on smoother. Also I've always wandered if you keep up on going to get regular facials from a dermatologist or do any sort of peels and things of that nature!

Hey Kathleen, I'm an esthetician and it looks to me like your breakouts are definitely caused by something internal. Have you increased your intake of dairy or soy lately? 80% of milk comes from pregnant cows, so it's full of hormones that can be triggering for someone who is already acne-prone. (Cutting out dairy completely cleared up my severe cystic acne.) Too much soy can also throw off your hormone balance. For your face, you could try tea tree, but clearing up may be a little tricky because your skin is dry and sensitive and many acne products are drying. I'd recommending getting a facial and seeing what your skin therapist recommends. They'll have the benefit of looking under the magnifying lamp, it's harder for me to see.
For your chest, make sure you're exfoliating (I like using a body brush or scrub in the shower) and look for a spray on acne treatment, a few brands make them. If that's too drying, you could also mix alcohol free witch hazel, a few drops of tea free, and maybe some lavender water in a spray bottle and apply twice a day. Make sure to keep it really clean, and use the spray if you get sweaty and can't shower. Drink tons of water and be patient, if you're doing the right things internally it will clear up. Unfortunately that process can take up to three months...I know it's easy to look in the mirror and see everything wrong, but to the average person, it's hardly noticeable and you're still absolutely beautiful!

I always start to break out when I workout/sweat a lot. For your skin Kathleen, try peppermint oil as a spot treatment or dilute it with water, usually works overnight for me!
Besides the foundation and lash glue, all the products she picked are cruelty free! Just goes to show that you don't need to support brands that test on animals in order to get good quality makeup xxx
