Do go and see this play! It is certainly thought provoking, and considering the original was written in 1912 its relevancy to today is scary! Juliet Stevenson is wonderful, had a chance to talk to her after one of her performances and she is a really lovely person.

The Armory is a GREAT venue for the right play. This isn't the right play. Like being trapped in the most obnoxious dinner conversation with the most insufferable people. The play is as cold as a waiting room and as loud as a train station. No one is likeable in this play and, in the discussion of ethics, it's a pick-your-adventure game. No matter your social/political/ethical opinion, trust that a character will mention it -only for it to be dropped as the next buzz topic comes up. And it's NOT anti-Semitic in the least, but the idea of anti-Semitism is broached in a haphazard way and not fully realized or resolved. I happily see ANYTHING at the Armory as I appreciate their mission and artistic vision. But I will be more careful with my ticket purchases in the future.
