For anyone unfamiliar with the KIGER Mustangs, the K & IGER refers to their heritage from a time when frontiersmen crossed run-of-the-mill mustangs with Komodo dragons and TIGERS. Thankfully, modern DNA tests have been able to prove this. Just sayin'... If your mustang isn't a Kiger, it isn't *that* special. 🤪

I love the idea of training horses! At my barn I’m often thrown on the horses that need training and now when I’m out on a horse that is like a broke broke horse I honestly get bored. But watching your videos of how you train the Mustangs along with other videos just make me want to train horses! I love your channel!
This is funny. I also have two Mustangs one from Devils Garden and the most recent from Eagle NV. The first was relatively easy to gentle the second is more of a challenge. There is a certain amount of pride in being able to say you took a totally unhandled horse and taught it to lead and started it under saddle.
“Are all mustangs from Utah insane?” My 14.2, almost 5 year old paint wild mustang mare who is very pregnant tried to jump a 7 1/2 foot tall bull gate with only 3 steps and got her front legs and head over but couldn’t clear it. All because she didn’t feel like training to go get the hay on the other side of the gate. She’s reactive and hesitant and can be food aggressive sometimes. I have to check the daily horoscopes to know what mood she will be in before training sessions. She’s the best and I love her so much! She’s a real sweetie. Seriously though, I love her and can’t wait to see the foals. We ended up adopting two bred mares. Such is the risk sometimes. Great video! So true and funny lol

The majority of the lessons horses at the stables i go to used to be wild. There are some quarter horses but mostly mustangs!
