Hessisch Oldendorf HO17 Vintage VW Treffen - June 2017

Where do we start... 1st of all big thank you to the beautiful town of Hessisch Oldendorf, to Traugott and Christian Grundmann and their team for making us all fell welcome, your efforts has made HO17 the best event on the VW calendar.
We ended up with around 75gb of footage, took us a while to sort through, unfortunately as we used a gopro, and when the show got quite busy some footage was not really suitable, so sorry if you don't see your car in the video, we also arrived quite early on the Friday and Saturday so many cars not arrived yet. (also footage is mixed so not in sequence!)
However, hope this video gives you a taster of what HO17 was like and make you put HO21 in you diary!

I would have loved to have rolled in there in my 1960 2-stroke Saab and stunk up the place- seriously, though I would have loved to have been there. I learned to drive on a 1961 Beetle with a sunroof and no gas gauge and later owned a 56 oval and a 62 convertible which had the first engine I ever rebuilt all by myself. I love old VWs! But, I sure so love my Saab.

In high school in Munich, I had a very old bug, black with an original interior and very little rust. Unfortunately the front suspension needed kingpins and I sold it very cheap, I think maybe 400 marks or one hundred dollars. it had the small back window, which I liked very much.

ICH habe einen VW Käfer Porsche Bj.1958 Alles Orginal mit Winker und Blinker, Sonderlakierung und einen Motor mit Holz 30PS. Mein Vater war mit dem Wagen orginal beim Unglück in Legende dabei und läuft und läuft bis heute Ich mag ihn sehr gerne fahren alles im orginal zustand
