This video is like the easiest way to confuse a Hetalian. It makes us want to feel happy, but also distraught and terrified as we think of the fictional characters we love so dearly. It gives us hope, but also despair. Just this song is enough to break a fragile heart of a Hetalian. (Wow I got really poetic back there)
I was fishing for inspiration for my creative writing essay and when I found this AMV it gave me the idea to write about a Russian soldier returning from the Cold War. I ended up getting an A- for it :D
Honestly? Hetalia fandom more than laughter. It shows dedication, family, sadness ... beautiful things that for us are very terrible, but they can happen. The video showed family the most. Nordic five, Italy (both brothers), FACE Family, Usuk (but in terms of the relationship father-son / brotherhood) and many more. It was a really good video! Good job! I'm crying,and my mom looks at me and asks if I'm okay,and I start bawling,and shut my computer,and bury my head in my hands.She freaks out and continues asking me whats wrong.I respond with,"T-they..they are coming home."and continue to cry like a maniac.My room mate passes through the room,and says,"The hell does that mean?"and just walks away.
the song itself makes me sad because it reminded me of my oh so awful childhood... ignored....bullied.....unnoticed.... and left sick... (yes this is all true and that was my childhood, this song reminded me of it because I listened to this song during that time)
I feel the same way I had my family almost split and I was terrorized back in middle school as well and closed everyone off from myself until it was over that's when I truly felt alive and not broke inside hell while I was in the care going home on that last day I remember crying out of pure joy and I put my middle fingle out the window
Just seeing this makes you think what the world would be like if real people were this happy and hopeful and so full of love for family and friends. It hits you right in the feels, da?
