Again I'm going to experiment with the swipe technique. This time I'm going to swipe on 2 layers to see if I can create some nice effects and depth. I'm also using some nice autumn colors. Let me know what you think of this resin painting. 😀

    Hallo Petra

Waouh !. Stunning, masterpiece..... Love your work. Did you put some silicon in your resin to do some cells?. Or it's natural that comes. Thanks for sharing your art.

Thank you so much for your nice compliment Serge Massa❤ I appreciate it a lot. 😀 No, I didn't add silicone in my resin. Silicone and resin doesn't work that well together. You can create cells by using a combination of pigments and pastes.

@@petrajongbloed4425 Hi Petra. Thanks for your answer. Very kind to you. Ok, I didn't know that silicon doesn't work with resin: I'm a landscape painter and I found in love with pouring!... Since a month, I discovered pouring, I didn't know this art!... And now resin . I made last week my first acrylic fluid. So, I begin with that kind of art: I love it.

Petra..I was wondering if you have a heated ventilated garage.I ask as I am in Canada and the temps are now too cold for the resin to set properly..and with the furnace on no ventilation..how do u do it?

Hi Susan, Yes I do have a heated ventilated garage. I have a small heater with which I can control the temperature in my studio. The walls are also insulated. To ventilate I have windows on both sides of my studio that I can open. An hour before I start working with resin in my studio, I turn on the heater and heat up the resin. During working with resin I open the windows and lower the heater so that it stays around 21 degrees, also during drying.
