Lil Peep saved my life. Made me feel not alone. Made me closer to my mom which intern helped my mental health still struggling 4-5-6 years later. Please more Lil Peep.
I’m sorry it took music for you to form a relationship with your mom and I hope you can keep that relationship with her. As a mom myself I’ve always tried to recognize the importance of the music my kids listen to.
The lyrics about her only coming at night etc is towards Emma, his ex who he dreamt about at the night and having fantasies about their romance. While she doesn't really understand what he's battling inside. He has mentioned that he can express his feelings in music and that it's his only escape Anyways, good video as always. Keep it up!
I recommend "Right Here"; a great song from Lil Peep. You are right with how Peep's songs are in the aspect of instrumental beginning and/or ending and repeating a lot of lyrics. I found Peep's music from a fb friend after he had passed but I still love his songs. Different ones speak to me depending on the day/mood. I also agree that the instrumental music is really good to jam out to and just be in the moment/really "feel" the music.
i have a love/hate relationship with Peep these days. the music is so good, it literally saved my life when i was at my lowest lows, but man it’s depressing to listen too on days your feeling good. it brings me back to those darker days.
i stopped listening to suicide boys and others for over two years now, feeling good the first time since forever and been this way for those two years, listening to their music just brings bad memories back, same thing with peep and others
been dealing with shit for over 8 years and can say that I never expected to feel good or happy ever again, but here we are, feeling good af I think never giving up did worth it

Sadly I started listening to peep after he died. I wish I could go back in time and see him live. Watching his interviews and live shows somehow you can just form a connection with him. Peeps music has been there for me when no one else has. I can easily say he saved my life. This is why I hate when people talk down on any artist, not just peep. You don't know what a person has gone through and what their music means to them.
Lil peep helped me so much, hes one of my favorite artists cause it really felt like he was speaking his heart out and didnt care how crazy it sounded, it was honest. When an artist can do this it helps fans, we can get those emotions out in the lyrics in a healthy way. RIP. Peep 💓

one of my fav songs which i emotionally relate to alot. i once heard the song for hours in my head while sleeping having a nightmare about my worst fears.. this song really hits me different
In that period of time he was still living in mom's house, correct me if I'm wrong, but I remember, that his mom once told, that peep shows her that song and she just end up crying
I can resonate with every part of Let Me Bleed. The part that gets me is “I had to make my name, I had to break my spine.” That’s so damn inspiring to me, because in spite of the way his heart was breaking, he still knew he had to be successful. He had to fucking get it, no matter what. He had to push through and break his spine, like I heard my grandpa saying he was breaking his back working as a child to provide for my family. It’s a different take on a saying that is much more impactful to me.
Lil peep is one of my favorite artist, he helped me but he also made me feel as low as ever. Great artist but I always got extremely sad listening to him.
That's not true, Tom is fascinated by the way people feel and why they do. Lil peep is regarded as a 'depressed failure' by many, but he was also just a human. Tom tries to explain to us how you can feel peep's emotions by listening to his songs
@@timnauwelaers6876 yea people who think hes a failure he literally left a legacy behind his music will live on forever and the people he saved and still is saving now
I feel like the part about his mom and brother (whose names are Liza and Oskar btw) is a lot about feeling at home. He wants to be a place where he feels safe and loved.
I BEG you listen to Brennan Savage “Reflection”! He was one of Peeps Best Friends growing up, now a Verified Artist. Very Sad, but none the less, Beautiful Music if you can Relate to Losing a Friend . RIP PEEP.
I hope you guys do more Lil Peep. Songs like "Movin On" - live at rolling loud, "Lil Kennedy", "it's me" and more are great songs that I would love to hear your take on. Love your videos!
This song for me has a higher and deeper meaning. I liked this song before the situation of my brother, it’s about to be almost a year that my brother who was only 23 passed away due to a drug overdose and this song really hits me the most because of what it says and how much I can relate to it to my brother. We even put this song during the funeral and we did it how he would’ve wanted and not what other people would have wanted to see. The crazy part that my brother told me about lil peep then that’s when I fell in love with his music, but now he’s gone just like peep 😞I miss them both 💔
Im sorry man. That's probably one of the deepest stories I ever heard considering how music can really change someone's life and you played this at his funeral did you play the day that I crashed into the wall also
@@doreeconley6550 I did not get to play that song, before the funeral we could only chose 3 songs while a slideshow in the back was playing long enough for 3 songs before it replayed again and one of them was Let Me Bleed along with what my mom chose and his gf. I felt the connection with that song and yes it’s crazy how a song can change someone’s life, music is generally is powerful and I can’t go without a day listening to music, especially lil peep and suicideboys it’s a must. We just had my brothers first year memorial last month it was heartbreaking but it was something I needed, we all wrote a letter to him, nobody else was gonna read it, it was just a 1 on 1 whatever you wanted to tell him. During the ceremony we brought all the letters together and burned it with him shirt and did a “ritual” you can say and made him go with peace. After it ended, the lady who did the ceremony said “your brother left a message for you” and I stood there hearing what he had to say for me and man I broke down bc she didn’t know how situation but the message made everything cleared 😢he was “sorry that we couldn’t make that brother bond last longer and to forgive him for leaving so early, there was still much more to do” after hearing that I knew it was him I felt a bit relieved because I know myself I could’ve been a better brother. I had that regret and guilt within myself and couldn’t forgive myself but with our messages crossing, I feel much better and I know he does as well. Being 5 years apart was hard growing up but after being older we had more of that brotherly relationship and I really loved that. It just sucks I won’t get to experience that brother bond anymore ☹️😞💔
A lot of times peep's songs referencing love or lyrics talking about love is about his Ex Emma. She was his true love. And Peep loved his mother and family a lot, Im not sure if you have watched the documentary but if you haven't I highly recommend it. peep had very close relationships with his family, his mom, his brother, his grandpa, peep was very much a momma's boy and home oriented person, but life on the road and all the pain he had to deal with from a very young age made it hard to stay sober. Though he was very much aware of how bad the drugs were for him, and he did SEEM to be in control of his addiction, no matter what that stuff will kill you. peep had a very kind heart. thank you for these reactions
