Thank you so much Mike Mazzalongo. Iam South Sudanese pastor living in Kenya as a refugee. I empower South Sudanese Christian Churches, Community Associations, women, children and animal rights through Christian Initiative For Human And Animal Rights. The studies are of help to me as I follow the same studies to teach them from Church to the other. It is my prayer that God will connect us in a special way to extend the studies to South Sudanese Churches in diaspora in Kenya. Thank, Rev: Tut Doang Kuol.
As a former catholic, I really identify with you and your teachings I also have been shunned by my family. Thank You! P.S. I am a member of Church of Christ Lafollette Tn. now😊
My mother also had some pushback from our family when we made the switch from Catholic to Church Of Christ but she has always said something that stuck with me which is by choosing to follow God and being a part of his church we gain an even bigger spiritual family who will be with us forever and understand the glory of the Lord as we do ❤

I just wanna say again, Thank you for your videos I think i kind of figured out how to take notes effectively. (Btw I never was in school we moved a lot and missed most of my education yrs.) Had to give the reason for me sounding like a 5yr old.
I’m supposing that you are asking the best way to study and remember the Bible. I recommend studying each book separately making sure you learn the background and purpose of each book as well as something about the author. Next, begin a line by line study (as you are doing with Matthew) in order to learn the main themes and issues that each writer has in mind. In this way you will begin to have a grasp on the individual books and with time a better understanding of the whole. - MM
Thx Mike for fantastic teaching!! Just a question - During your presentation on James you indicated that temptation per se is not a sin - sin only starts when there is action. How must I understand that view in terms of your teaching on Matthew 5 verse 27 - where it seems as if the temptation per se = sin?
Good question. In Matthew 5:27 Jesus is describing the entertaining of lustful thoughts which is sin and if not checked can lead to outright adultery. Men often have to deny thoughts of an impure nature that come to mind quite often. To have such thoughts is, unfortunately, part of being a weak human being. However to keep and use these thoughts as a sort of internal stimulation, this is sin. - MM
As much as I enjoy these lessons, nowhere in scripture are we taught that baptism=salvation. If one must be baptized to be saved, explain the thief on the cross.
While Jesus was on earth He had the authority to forgive sins directly (Mark 2:10). However, after His resurrection and before His ascension He instructed the Apostles to make disciples by preaching the gospel and baptizing repentant believers (Matt. 28:18-20; Acts 2:37-38). - MM
