I mean... *a* Fitz still died so your tears were not in vain. It just so happens there's another Fitz orbiting Jupiter with Enoch at the same time.
If this Fitz didn't die, space Fitz would've woke up in 90 years and none of his friends would be there. Unless Enoch was monitoring Earth for the destruction, then he could've came back when he realized it was averted.
Fitz dies, and it's like "It's okay, we got a spare"
It's more like, "Wait, he's out there from before. We gotta get him before this happens to him!"
It's a bit more traumatic than that, but kinda, yeah. Fitz being out there was always a thing - if they had failed here, like they have seemingly done quite a few times, he would have been there to wake up in 2091 and meet up with the team once again. But imagine if they had succeeded AND this Fitz had lived - the other Fitz would have woken up in 2091 to find that Jemma and all of his friends had lived and died without "him". It would have been Steve Rogers all over again. But instead of "I had a date" it would have been "I was going to propose." Sheesh. My heart breaks thinking about it.

I am never going to get over the death of Fitz. I was so numb for the duration of that day.
The sad thing is, I was waiting for this moment not because of the elephant in the room but because I have been compared to Fitz and now look at me. I think my leg is broken...I hate it here

Since the ladies only want to listen to you, please let them know that they’re 2 Fitz. 1 dead and 1 frozen in space from earlier in the season. They were so happy to hear he is alive they totally missed the how. I like watching these heart breaking episodes to see I’m not the only one getting torn apart. I wish I caught magicians s4 finale before if was taken down, that messed me up too.
@@raymonddiaz1106 can we stop diluting the gals, they picked up on it AFTER the episode. The amount of people who never check the after thoughts is insulting. I could understand they understood the Fitz situation and I explained to Bri in our podcast (Humans on the Internet, subscribe) and it was clear as day.

Daisy's speech to Talbot is possibly my favorite speech in the whole show. It's regular people on the front lines of world conflicts and their sacrifices.

I completely agree and it annoys the f**k out of me when people try to argue that it's not by trying to say Kevin Feige said it's not even though I don't remember him ever confirming it was or wasn't, Idk if it's changed recently but he usually just avoids the question or talks around it #AgentsOfSHIELDisCanon
@@eddiebrock1068 I looked everywhere and Feige never once said it's non canon. Its just fans who never watched the shows and said its non canon because Feige's name wasn't in it.

Apparently, Kevin Feige wants Chloe to reprise Quake in Secret Warriors. They're rebooting Charlie Cox's Matt Murdoch in Spider-Man: No Way Home, according to reputable sources but I'm hoping that Daisy ends up coming from the multiverse, as the same one from Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.

every reaction i've seen most people have the same feelings to the Fitz reveal of being alive in space with Enoc when he was traveling to the future, i personally think the very last shot post ending would have been seeing sleeping Fitz on the space ship with Enoc standing over him as a reminder, as some people don't get it!

In highsight thankfully this was not the series finale , its fantastic no doubt but, it would have been such a depressing note to end on

It's still sad because that Fitz never married Jemma, and didn't ever meet Deke, but hey at least we didn't lose all of him like we all thought at first. Man, I've never felt so gutted about losing a TV character I love. Oh also, SHIELD is MCU cannon compliant. Never give up! Never surrender!

Talbot lands the ship destroying everything and causing havoc: The Avengers just sitting in their tower lounging...
You forget that the final episodes of this season are set in the middle of Infinity War, when the Avengers are busy fighting Thanos' forces. Also, that city is Chicago, not New York.
This was a rollercoaster of tears, good and bad. More ups and downs and twists to come! I would say, no matter what the writers put the fans through, try to never give up Hope for a happy ending!

The show is canon, but folks who either like to exaggerate the divide between Marvel Studios and Marvel TV (a divide existed, there was some degree of coordination but MTV didn't know about everything in advance, and now we have MS projects utilizing minor characters or objects that originated in some of these shows) or feel that everything from the films must be referenced or shown often like to propagate something like AOS not being canon. They'll mistakenly consider a lack of mention of something as a contradiction within canon and that's just never going to be the case.
Like, if there was an extra episode set between Seasons 5 & 6 that directly connected to the end of Infinity War (since the S5 finale ends immediately before that) without changing any existing episode from seasons 6 & 7, it would negate almost every argument against AOS's status. And if you don't have to change anything from S6 & 7, then why wouldn't they still be canon?
Now, that's not to say I'd expect characters and events from AOS to be referenced in the films, but, as we're already seeing, some minor cameos and occasional nods or references are not out of the realm of possibility- especially now that the shows are concluded, which allows the characters to be utilized without having to step on the toes of any ongoing TV plot threads and arcs.
The Tale of Two Fitzes.....heheheheheh! But my GOD did we all cry like babies when "Fitz of the Future" actually died. And then we were all like "Whew! Fitz died, but thanks to wibbly wobbly timey wimey whammy stuff our Fitz didn't die!"
Time travel. Complicated AF, but its the "save all" plot armor mechanism!

Rewatch the opening scene from 5x01 and you see the drawings told the story of the whole season. You can see Coulson and May in one of the drawings standing on the beach.
The movies have opened up the idea of different universes where things might be slightly different in some ways and very different in others. I choose to believe this is just another universe.
*NO SPOILERS* Ok so basically, the snap will NOT be referenced in this show. Why? because marvel studios actually refused to tell them the plot of infinity war or endgame, bc they suck. Kevin Feige thought they needed to focus more on their movies and what not instead of all the Netflix/ABC shows, which he had a back forward with them for a couple years and he thought it wasnt worth it anymore, so he basically announced them all to be not cannon anymore. This whole series is like a "what if Coulson survived the Loki stab" timeline. In the MCU timeline, Coulson is dead af. However this show could possibly be cannon one day if they bring it back via the MCU multiverse!
Kevin feige actually confirmed that the shows were canon.
The way I see it in Far From Home, most of Black Panther, Falcon & Winter Soldier snapped while the original 6 Avengers didn’t Snap, my guess is the Agents of SHIELD didn’t Snap.

um THis show is still canon to the whole of the mcu there has been NOTHING to contradict that at least yet. also there are rumors that some of the characters will show up in secret invasion on disney plus.

Fitz died at whatever age he is now, but from the year whatever when the world was broke, so he essentialy timetravelled there one second a time in deepfrost condition. However, this means, that whenever Simmons finds Leo frozen out there orbiting shit, they will have a narrow window of time together, since later Fitz at whatever age he is when he showed up in broken world events time, must be going back to the freezer.
That's why one does not simply put timetravel in their scripts. Still better than Endgame tho.
fitz that came back with them from the future died in the rumble. the fitz that went to space with enoch with the help of lance hunter in episode 5 or 6 is still frozen in space that is who they are going to find

Nobody has mentioned this but Simmons going to where deke room was and taking her Fitz’s tool is symbolic to her mission to receive her Fitz from space.

Sorry, but the one thumbs down I give AoS for this season, is they did Talbot dirty.
Adrian Pasdar had a great time and got to take Talbot in a different direction. But each to their own.

Ladies hello. Don't listen to the haters. Agents of Shield is cannon. Finale time. I know it was sad episode, but you should've remembered there was another Fitz in Cryosleep. Now, we going into space to look for him. Meanwhile, May and Coulson will live happy in Tahiti.

Third, Nicky I think you got it, I'm also thinking that Liam already explained you what happened with Fitz, but I'm still going to mention it as well. So yeah, the team returned to their present, which was just like a few days or weeks tops, after Fitz froze himself and went to space with Enoch, to find them in the future. So with that, it turned out to be 2 Fitzs, the one from the future that returned with the team and the one from the present that is waiting in space for a future that now wont happen anymore because they broke the loop. So Fitz did die, your tears were not in vain, yeah we still have another one, but it still hurt like hell rigth 😭💔 (and I'm glad you notice that switch in the end, because I didnt when I first watched it and I was DESTROYED, I have never cried so much in my life, and yes that was so RUDE!!) And yeah, Jemma had to say goodbye to one of them, but now she is going to look for the other one in space, yay 😅 the thing tho is that this Fitz has not lived and doesnt know a lot of the things that happened in season 5, for example, he didnt have the psyche split (I dont remember how is called), he doesnt know Deke nor that he is his grandson and he didnt married Jemma... Ok I'm sad again 😭😭

You do know that there are two more seasons of Agents of Shield. Just a fair warning, the last five seasons are tame in comparison to the last two seasons.
They know and just because they are tame in your eyes doesn't mean they will be in theirs. Don't set expectations please.

This season is when the show stopped being canon due to the timetravelling and creating new timelines. But I don't care, I still enjoyed episode of it through to the fantastic ending!

I’m sorry I love this show but graviton vs daisy fight was mid.
The producers said the Finale took place several hours before the Snap.
It's probably closer to minutes, if the sun is up in both Tahiti and Wakanda at the same time.
In all honesty, i kinda preferred this episode instead of the actual series finale
I preferred the series finale of AOS to the season 5 finale just my honest opinion.
There's probably a reason for that. Which I will be happy to discuss with you when we get to 7x13, in about six months time.
