When the song at 2:34 started, I was hit with this overwhelming wave of nostalgia. I didn't realize it at the time but Fable TLC was one of the very few things that brought me happiness in the months after my mom died when I was 11. My dad typically just let me do whatever I wanted the year afterward and I think this was the first M rated game I was ever allowed to buy. The times I was lost in this world, part of me forgot how miserable I was. I'm 27 now and it's still one of my favorite games but the music always makes me sad.
Oh god, this hit me hard 🙈 The good times of being a young adult who thought the world would be so easy.. before I let abusive relationships ruin my self-worth, my youthful curiosity and just about a decade of my best years... damnit, this music is alot more melancholic than just nostalgic now 😔
@@joshvonmuttonchops9043 yeah like wtf? It would actually sell very well and I don't think people want a full remake or remaster, just release the game as it is and they'll be happy
for the longest time i played video games and i have an enormous catalog to grasp from and i was never able to understand why fable 1 invoked such a fantasy setting and an unforgettable memory. then it occured to me that the music had a powerful effect on the overall experience, the music of fable 1 really created a fantasy setting you wanted to explore, it filled your mind with ideas of what could be happening and what the world was like around you. it made the small and blocked off areas of fable seem vast and unexplored, as if you were the hero destined to see what lied ahead, beyond the safety of man made dirt paths and towns. few times has a video game or any medium of story telling made me want to dive into it's world and stay there forever. fable 1 was essentially in my love for video games from a young age and that was when i was 8 years old, now i'm almost 23 and this series will always have a special place in my heart. I wish someone would come and take the best elements of each game, messed them together in a well thought out world, wish rich lore, complex cities, unique characters, and the same music that would drug someone into a world of fantasy rarely seen before.

I'm hoping that the reboot is a success, and that they go on to create a game that bridges the gap between Fables 1 and 2. I lost a lot of immersion in 2, because the world was so different, and massive events had kinda just been skimmed over. Such as the Heroes Guild falling: since it wasn't just meaningful to the player's hero and the narrative storyline; but it was also a key pillar-stone of Albion's societal and militant make-up. Kinda felt like when Fable 2 set itself so many years into the future and just threw in a few paragraphs to say "oh well, it's gone", they done fudged up in making a really powerful storyline.
@@kecukraftwork1988 What I didn't like about the 2nd and 3rd one, were the shooting weapons. They destroyed this magic feeling walking around in Albion.

I hope that the combat system goes back to something closer to the original Fable. As much as I liked Fable 2 (and now love 3,) I feel that the combat system was a massive step down from the first game.
