Roxy’s ears are merchandise worthy! She’s the cutest thing I’ve ever laid eyes on!😍 PLEASE keep a watch on your blood pressure. Mine hurts in the back when my BP is high.
Chad you need to be careful with this heat. Rae, the boys, your animals and we need you. You're on the water for the animals but you need to do the same with yourself. Be Blessed Doss fam.!❤
Your mixed herd is about the luckiest animals around with you all caring for them constantly. They love being near you that's why they're always up near the cabin. Total love n trust
Our grand daughter graduated last year. She was born on the last day you could qualify for school that year. She was always the youngest in her class. In kindergarten they tried to talk our daughter into holding her back. But we all knew she was more than ready. You will know when the time comes if Adler is ready.
Are Roxies ears starting to unfurl? She is so cute. I love watching the babies doing zoomies. Chad, this is from someone old enough to be your mom and who cares for you deeply, "Stay hydrated. Drink your water!" I pray for cooler temps and cooling winds would surpise everyone in the coming week. God's blessing and safety to all on the Doss Farm from Proctor Minnesota!
Great video. Thanks for sharing. Love the little piglets! I’m glad they have their new home to stay safe. Prayers and blessings from the OKC Grandmother.
We just went through a 100° plus all week, now we have smoke haze that is making breathing difficult and vision while driving below 1/4 mile. So many fires just north a couple hours, prayers appreciated for the families and animals caught in it. Love and prayers 😇💜
Sending prayers to you. Stay safe. This is scary to read. I'm watching from Germany and we've never had such a cold and wet summer. The whole of Europe around us is burning with forest fires. The next couple of days we've got the heat back but then will be going back down. I can't stand heat and humidity and my heart goes out to everyone dealing with it
Definitely stay hydrated and cool off when you can 😊! The baby animals are so cute 🥰! I love when they are copying their moms 💕! Stay safe out there in the heat! Thanks for sharing, take care, and God Bless🙏🏻🤗💕!
I totally agree with you 100% on everything you said about the shade trees. I have a large shade tree right off my back patio and it absolutely feels like it's 20 degrees cooler beneath it. When it rains, it really has to rain hard, or for extended periods, to even begin dripping water from the leaves onto anything beneath it. It's like a huge umbrella. I'd rather be sitting under it than in an enclosed space with no air movement. Stay hydrated. I feel your pain. Today at 4:00 it was 104 degrees with a heat index of 115 here. The next week is going to be brutal with actual temperatures around 105 degrees and no rain in sight. Hopefully, September will bring some relief. Fingers crossed.
Minnesota here...just want you both to know I love you both..!! Am a granny..76 yo...thank you for the entertainment AND education your videos have given me---love sent to ALL your family..❤️❤️❤️
Hey I put the copper in our water tub for cow and donkey's. Hadn't heard if you tried that after you mentioned it. I will let ya know next time. Same weather here for next 2 weeks
Hydration is key when it’s so hot outside…water, not soda…crystal light can be added to water. We just did over 117 (Las Vegas) yep I passed out from dehydration, I’m very healthy just lost 115 lbs the heat just zaps you with no warning!! Stay safe and hydrated❤️
I read a story once about a lady that put goldfish in her water tank for her horses. She noticed that the fish were disappearing and couldn't figure out why. Then one day she saw one of her horses catch and eat one of the goldfish.
Awesome video Doss Family, very cute babies love the silly moves they make, God bless everyone in the family 🙏💜✝️ the heat wave is hitting where I live too ,
When you called your "horse" an as-set I was already laughing saying to myself that there was a Dad Joke and then you stated it which made me laugh even more, only a dad would get it without you having to say it. LOL!!
Good morning Doss Farms. We are battening down the hatches here in So. Cal. Hillary will be here soon. I just put up shade cloth up on my patio cover. I did it right, hope it holds. I am a do it myself person, fingers crossed. At least it has cooled us down. Sorry about all your heat, we don't have the humidity. Because of you I am going to build a chicken coop and run, doing it myself. Still clearing the space I am putting the coop, I love to build. I only have 1/3 of an acre so my space is limited. I used to love the commercial at school starting time "its the most wonderful time of the year" . Being a stay at home mom yes, I was happy. Happy in June and happy in September. They are all grown now, don't think I would send my kids to public(government) school now. Remember I live in So. Cal. You are a great Dad, Husband, and farmer/rancher. Living the dream, so happy for you. Your land is green, the hill here are brown. I told my husband, if/when we move for retirement it has to be green. l Love the donkeys, if I had the room I would have one. We do have problems with predators, mountain lions, bob cats, coyotes, racoons, skunks I forgot bears', we back up to the mountains. Going to get a dog, ours passed a year ago. Looking for a big mutt. Talking too much. Peace out. Stay Cool...
We got five minutes of rain in Sanger and heard Fresno state cancelled football game and State of Emergency has already been called for impending hurricane. Be careful is SoCal.
Look up adding copper into your water troughs. I have heard that a small length of copper pipe put in a water trough helps to prevent mould/algae growth. This might be something you can look into and try.
I love watching all that baby stuff. They are all so stinking cute. Maggie can move,I didn’t know pigs could move that fast. I know they all a joy. You guys stay safe in this heat or should I say stay cool.🤭🥰
On our farm as a teenager, we only had one of the aluminium water troughs that sat on a concrete base. I’m the one who ended up scrubbing it out like every three months. I remember there was a knob at the bottom where it drained and then I refill it. That water trough sat in the sun every day and definitely didn’t have the algae as bad as what I’m seeing in your black water troughs but no, I don’t think anybody who runs a farm really cleans their troughs out as much as what I see you and your son do. This was back in the early 80’s. Our cows, horses ect..ect were fine. You guys go way above and beyond to make sure your animals are extremely healthy so if anybody is shouting out on your page that you’re not doing an awesome job, then that’s their issue.
I love pigs, my favourite animals and they are so smart. I miss my two pigs.I enjoyed watching the babies playing. You look after your animals so well. Stay safe everyone ❤
My daughter was August 5 counselor tried to tell me they were not taking her. I said talk to her a minute. He came back ask for next kid I asked were my daughter was he said oh the nurse. She smarter than half her class.
Watching as replay. Loving Roxies curly ears. They look like they are starting to get a bit straighter. Lilly is So gorgeous. Please please be careful about using your large equipment on the crazy hot days. Better to wait until it's a bit cooler and safer.
Thanks for another glimpse into farm life. The animals are amazing. Funny to see the cows surround the baby pig area. Blessings to you & Rae and the family.❤❤
Chad, how about a solar power fountain for the water tubs? Keeps the water moving that might reduce or possibly eliminate the algae. You see them in pond in home developments. They have some for smaller pools etc…
A barn is not always safe! The open is better, and their used to it. All their babies are good and thriving. Chand Rae has been doing research, I'm sure. They are very smart and aware of all their livestock. God bless Doss fam bam love from. California 🇺🇸 ♥️ ❤️ 💕
