I absolutely have always loved Sarah ever since her battle with Javine on Pop stars the rivals always thought she had the best vocal in the group. Fly like an Angel Beautiful Girl you will be sadly missed 😘
Sarah's problem was that she didn't want to make pop albums ,she recorded dance songs and always leaned more towards rock ,but she was known from a pop act..so It wasn't exactly easy to market her. But yes,she Could've easily done It.
She is no Adele or Florence Welch, but she can sing well enough. IMO, talent-wise she ranked middle; Nadine, Nicola, Sarah, Kimberley, Cheryl. Cheryl really can't sing that well but she doesn't get ripped to shit - these criticisms seem to be more based on a dislike of Sarah as a person, tbh, while Cheryl is the "Nation's Sweetheart" and gets away with bum notes, miming, and well, a lot more lol.

Lauren Holmes Still doesn’t explain why she gets away with these weak ass vocals. Oh yeah, she’s pretty. But it should be a whole package. The voice, the presence, the dancing abilities and then the looks. She’s conveying a cliché in music industry, which is what I hate about her in the dynamic of the group. And her whole career, in general. However I’m not glad about what happened to her recently. I’m not as petty as rejoicing seeing her « perfectness » destroyed by bad life choices, like most people do. But it still baffles me how she was the one who made it this far, being the weak link of Girls Aloud.
@@mightybitchy Umm, Kimberley was arguably weaker than Cheryl. Cheryl had the charisma, stage presence and had more vocal potential than Kimberley did in the group. Cheryl could have had a powerful voice if she learned how to use it. She also was the group's best performer.
she is actually a really good singer when shes not trying to hard sometimes she overdoes it and it goes a bit wrong but shes got the raw talent and a lovely voice that is very unique shes very underrated as a singer nadine and nicola are also very talented singers sarahs rendition of footloose on tour is the best ive hear her vocals btw

Sarah could have been a great singer if she went solo and had proper vocal coach and training. Her voice can actually rich very high pich but unfortunately most of time she over do it. She's also very beautiful. However, I heard that sadly she has not much left to live due to her brest cancer that has spread throughout her body & this because when Sarah left it to long before getting checked. As an artist myself, I would never put my health and especially my life at risk just to follow my acting, dancing and singing career. I am sorry to say on her part was an act of selfishiness that ultimately will cost her life. Girls Allowed got were they did cause she can sing. Shame cause she still such a young and very beautiful woman and had a lot to give to her fans still. Xxx
