The Turkics have so many varieties of dumplings. Some are boiled, some fried and others baked. Some do not have leavening, some have baking powder/soda and some use yeast. Some are sweet, others have cheese filling and others are filled with meat. One dupmling can be consumed two different ways - For Tatars of Crimea, "Kaşık Börek" meaning Spoon Dumpling is a soup garnished wıth garlic yogurt. If boiled and strained it becomes Tataraş (Tatarash) meaning Tatar Food, also served with garlic yogurt sauce. They call it Manti in Turkey.

Looks like dumplings have transformed for many countries, including my home country, S. Korea. We called this as "Mandoo."

      Wrong. 🙄
The English word "pierogi" comes from Polish pierogi [pʲɛˈrɔgʲi], which is the plural form of pieróg [ˈpʲɛruk], a generic term for filled dumplings. It derives from Old East Slavic пиръ (pirŭ) and further from Proto-Slavic *pirъ, "feast".
