WOW, transported back in time, best nights ever dancing to tunes like this with me mates and me sister (wish she was still here to hear this she'd love it), lost in the tunes and floating to oblivion, hard to find good mixes like this and so pleased i did find it, thanks for the memories. My workmates look at me and wonder why my head is bobbing side to side when Im sitting at my pc with my earphones plugged in, if only they could hear this........Im nearly 48 and still loving it. Two hours of trance every night, 10% is addictively beautiful, 90% is just good. Good trance is so amazingly awesome. So far as emotion in trance, like a Picasso painting, the mood is neutral, no happiness or sadness or hate or love, sometimes tinged with regret but usually a neutral relation of an idea, philosophy, situation etc. Thank you for the reminder of the beginnings of trance.

Takes me back to the days when Radio 1 broadcast live from Ibiza and the DJ's played tracks on white label that hadn't been released. This was an era of music I doubt we'll ever hear again, when DJ's were celebs rather than footballers.

I listen to newer trance but most of that is nearly always variations of the same thing. early trance was not afraid to experiment, and BTW I am almost 55 years, my mind is younger than my body!!

You know its interesting... I consider this mix to be my good-luck mix. When listening to this for the first time more than a year ago I met my Girlfriend and we've been together for about that whole time. So when I listen to this it just makes me happy no matter what and no other mix or any video has the meaning to me like this one.
+Nicholas Shaw Nice comment, i met my girlfriend back in the day in a club trance night in 2000 listening to stuff like this and we are still together now 16 years on, so trance for me is just good luck music aswell. Not quite like you and your girlfriend you have a connection to this particular mix. For me and her it's paul van dyk 2002 slinky at the opera house bournmouth, one of the best nights ever out of about 1500

I have said so many times that I bought my first single with my own money in 1975. Music is my life but the years 1996 -2006 are the best years I have experienced today we are in 2022. I just see more and more bad music and rap music takes over more and more.
Its about to be 2022.. im 25 been listening since 7. My older brother was teenager in early 2000s and would listen alot to trance.
They dont make them like this anymore. Even tjough i was young i am able to recognize the good stuff. Stuf my bro would have on cassete tapes and some on cds haha man very early 2000s before 05 was something special for sure.
