Back tested this and it's quite powerful. Only change I made is if there are multiple CHOCHS before the BOS then I wouldn't take the trade bc it usually means ur in a range, so ur more likely to lose. Has to be a single CHOCH followed by a BOS.

This is exactly how I trade but without the indicators lol. Simple trend trading with market structure. Seems like a “Choch” is just a break of a higher low during a uptrend or a break of a lower high during a downtrend which indicates a reversal or change in the trend is coming. And a “BOS” is just a breakout and close above the resistance level for a buy and a close below a support level for a sell

I added a 200MA to tadre in the direction of the trend In order to rule out false signals also my TP and SL are at previous supply and demand zones

what if there is a bullish CHoC on the red area followed by a bullish BoS on the red area but then there is also a bullish BoS on the green area, can i enter a long position?

Can you use this strategy on different time frames such as the 5min, 15min, 1hr?
I backtested it for hours and tried on different timeframes for eurusd gbpusd and xauuusd, its terrible on 1 min and not even that good on 1hr :(

I've been trading SMC using 3 ema 50, 100 and 200 for filter its better than market bias as the EMA will show you if the trend is strong if they are separate with each other unlike market bais and I used multiple TA start with 1hr so that I just go and follow the trend

You can set alerts for any of the indicators features eg, alert for bearish or bullish BOS, CHoC, etc

The strategy works! You'll lose if you overt trading in a day, you also have to trade in NYC or LONDON depend on where you live, I saw many entries with this strategy, that strategy doesn't work with any pair you have to search a special pair to trade. also, if there are multiple CHOCHS before the BOS is because the market is in a range. and it's obvious everybody loses in range market. So, take it easy.

I did a short test on the Nasdaq using the one minute chart only during the stock market hours and it did very well. I only tested about 2 weeks so take that testimonial with a grain of salt. I would suggest you do your own backtest of this strategy on the S&P 500 chart so you can see how it does for yourself, but I expect profitable results.

not yet as im not really sure of this method. I have manually back tested this on EUR / USD, with all recommended settings and entry strategy ...the result is more loss trades than profit trades....if only the vid creator can show us the video of the profitable back test in this Trading View. Start from January 2023?
@@alvinboe1287 And it's repainting, so on the chart you only see "valid" BOS/CHOCH, but on LIVE, you get alerts all the time that doesnt print (that disapear). it's BS

This Strategy works awesome in the 4hr Timeframe. I backtested this and had 85% win rate. Just don't take a trade if the market is ranging.

Yes
You are showing the settings way to fast. Impossible to see what settings you actually used if you are new to the indicator that is.

DD in any related software means drawdown (either equity or total balance) .
You will lose all of your money on M1 . Don't find your entries below the M15 of you're not a pro.
This particular set up happens to work well on the 1 minute timeframe. If you want to trade other timeframes with these indicators, I would say to do lots of testing first. You might find that setting up the indicators in a different way will find you better entries on another timeframe.
@@modax0 Most career traders will tell you that there are traders that make money on the 1 minute chart and even below that. I know of one guy that trades on the 40 second chart and consistently profits (ImanTradingLive).

If you missed the first BOS, don't take the 2nd one. You're supposed to focus on the very first BOS after ChoC

also SMC usually price shoild go into POI (Block) then we can enter but thing you show its like reatil (classic) S/R trading which is not much profitable.

checked on EUR/USD @1m, very less entry signal, and with RR 1:2 there are lots of SL hit ???....the back test result not based on this method for sure....and the example of the entry in the video only spotting the good trade.....not showing any bad trades....you should better show an example for any entries (good and bad) along the period you have chosen ..then we could verify if your statement is rite that this method is profitable...however thanks for your effort to make this content....Anyone have back tested this method in 1 month period using this TV instead of Trader Edge???
yeah he is not being honest with us I feel, otherwise he would be making turning funded accounts into millions of profit within a few months. Plus what about major red news and the rollover time when you cant trade... is he accounting for those? seems not.
also this could so easily be automated into a TV strategy. If he is about pine script like the channel name implied, he could code this up pretty easy as the indicaors our open source and give us the true results. I might do it myself if I have time.
your smoothing stayed at 100 though. when i changed mine to 10 like you stated. it didnt line up.
The video cuts back to when he's using the right settings on the "market bias" indicator. Your settings should be 10 smoothing.

@@Nealdb I've done some testing on the Eur/Usd 1 minute a while back. It tested well, but I wanna do another test. I tried trading it live and I didn't do well hence why I wanna test again and see how consistent. Btw I tested outside of the solo London session because I'm asleep during those hours.
