Still raided though for quite a few years thereafter, even made it to raid lead at one point. But I too noticed that the want for pics to and fro has died down quite a bit, and women players have become higher at least in my circles, but it took me changing games entirely (now I'm on eso) to see that.

People do hard modes for the rewards, not because they’re fun. That’s such a disingenuous statement. Some of them might be fun, but mostly it’s just stress. People just want their mounts and their gear. And there’s nothing than worse than having a raid member who refuses to acknowledge they made a mistake, and become toxic if anyone dares to correct them.
I know This an old ass video, but i went thru this in my Vanilla wow guild we had a female in the group and no joke our 2 GUILD LEADERS got in a big fight over her and damn near collapsed the guild over it. The white knighting over a female in video games is way to real. We went from like 100+ members to around 40+ members it was pathetic. I do love listening to it.
I’ve had good and bad experience with women in guilds. Some women are relaxed and want to play, others want to flirt with every guy and cause real drama 😂
it's known fact that people who play wow are mentaly unstable it is tru since this game started I was in many guilds where people were arguing about so many idiotic things and i was always wondering why would anyone try to argu in a GAME where you supposed to have FUN THe fun part about this is that the most CRINGE and Dramatic stuff happend for me a lot in Wotlk/cata/mop /wod..and since legion i never encounted such a childish and weird behavior

+Trash I'm 27 and I play with people who are in their mid to late 20s and early 30s. Got quite a few older people who are in their 30s to 40s as well. But I'm pretty sure most of the immature kids are the ones who only pvp and/or still live with their parents throwing tantrums over small things.

Idk, I guess I was pretty lucky when I was raiding. Went through 3 raiding guilds doing Heroics and never had a RL/GM rage, yell or causing drama on Vent. At one point in one of the guilds we had 2 couples in our raid group. But as I said, I guess I was super lucky. There was only 1 thing that happened, and that was a disgruntled new spriest that missed raid night so he got replaced, he started raiding our vent and making weird noises and trolling basically.
When we encountered anybody that had a temper we would just whisper "God I hate that guy" and watch the drama ensue...while he tries to figure out who said it
My guild leader raged too because one member was joking about spoiling what happened in a movie. Uninvited everyone and logged. Then one day we were raiding and the guild leader got upset at one of his friends who raided with us because he wasnt on all day. The reason why he wasnt on was because he was spending time with his gf. Who also raided with us. He started to yell at him and call his gf names. Got so upset uninvited everyone and disbanded the guild. On top of that he tried to reinvite everyone back to the guild the next day and unfriended me because I told he was wrong for getting upset and didnt want to raid with someone who is so volatile. Lol!
I teached my GF to play wow and I made fun of every white knight. I kinda don't play regulaly so she ended up reaching ICC HC and almost BIS quicker than me and now she's got more knowledge than me in some areas. Now I'm trying to get her into Racing Simulation but my improvised "cockpit" fits my size (2meter tall) way better than hers and she strugles to have basic control over the car. Longevity in a game means nothing. I've seen people with 10 years of experience that only play after getting stoned failing at basic mechanics any 6month player can nail if dedicated to it. And there are things like natural talent, some alien guys jump from Simulation into real life racing to win races because their brain is just wired into it.
That dude was in the right for banning her. Hardcore raiding isn't always going to be fun, and as someone who has raided SINCE PRE BC AS WELL, I know this. Especially when it came to AQ40 in Pre BC...that was NEVER fun. That was a fucking nightmare.
Literally 90% of these Vent rage videos involve a crazy broad. Raided with one as GL in WoTLK. I am going to be bringing my guild to victory as GL/RL in Classic.

He immediately put her above everybody else in guild, her dps was an absolute joke but she was still an officer. I bounced the fuck out and said good luck. They disbanded soon after. the girl was attacking the raid LEADER. She also claimed that this was suppose to be "fun" but actually this a professional guild. After the kick, all the nerds literally started whining about the girl not listening that she was offending the LEADEER which can be INSTA-BAN in some guilds. For me i think that Melrok was very generous when the girl started to revolt and gave her chances.
I' had been playing/raiding since Vanilla and I am very thankful that my GM and Co-GM were gay men and never allowed females to ruin our guild, all the way up to MoP - Throne of Thunder raid when we all just called it quits because people just got tired of the game. I was an officer and our officer chat was full of funny stuff, I miss those days lol. One perfect example of this female raider, she was a shadow priest and she started hitting on the our GMs and one of them just came out and told her, "Oh honey you are barking up the wrong tree", everyone busted out laughing so hard on Vent that she left the guild because she looked like a dumbass.

They aren't just fucking over their raid leader or whichever one person they have a problem with, they are screwing over everyone else in the raid, because then they are stuck in that limbo situation where you have to find someone to replace them, and then hope they're up for the task or role that they could have filled.

the girl was attacking the raid LEADER. She also claimed that this was suppose to be "fun" but actually this a professional guild. After the kick, all the nerds literally started whining about the girl not listening that she was offending the LEADEER which can be INSTA-BAN in some guilds. For me i think that Melrok was very generous when the girl started to revolt and gave her chances.

I' had been playing/raiding since Vanilla and I am very thankful that my GM and Co-GM were gay men and never allowed females to ruin our guild, all the way up to MoP - Throne of Thunder raid when we all just called it quits because people just got tired of the game. I was an officer and our officer chat was full of funny stuff, I miss those days lol.
One perfect example of this female raider, she was a shadow priest and she started hitting on the our GMs and one of them just came out and told her, "Oh honey you are barking up the wrong tree", everyone busted out laughing so hard on Vent that she left the guild because she looked like a dumbass.
LOL ! The Raidleader is correct, these guildies and the girl are wrong.

You talk like a person that likes to say they got laid. have you ever actually gotten anything besides your hand? I mean, it's not bad but ffs it's not like it's the next coming of christ. Also, you seem to be missing the point of what they're talking about. If a person in a raid just outright leaves in the middle of it, that is inexcusable. They aren't just fucking over their raid leader or whichever one person they have a problem with, they are screwing over everyone else in the raid, because then they are stuck in that limbo situation where you have to find someone to replace them, and then hope they're up for the task or role that they could have filled.
