Alhamdulillah, kami menikah thn 1992 dan skrg telah dikaruniai 2 orang putra. Saya dan istri telah berusia 60 thn dan masih sering memutar lagu ini sebagai kenangan yg terindah dlm hidup ini. This song always awakened my memories of my papa, I was born in the early 90's and I was a papa's girl and I was his favorite child, I was always with him wherever he goes, I never wanted to be away from my dad and I would always cry a river whenever he goes somewhere without taking me, even at work, I would come, I just didn't want to be apart from him even for a while, when he goes to his friends to drink, I'd go there and would sit on his lap and he would always hug me and feeds me with the food they were eating. He would always sing this song and gave his best to sing this song at the top of his lungs to a karaoke. I remember, I didn't appreciate his voice and I was always embarrassed when he sing this song because he would sing at the top of his lungs, people would always say he sounds so good why did I not like his voice? I didn't appreciate these kind of music when I was little and didn't realized the fuss about it. I realized now and I believe my papa dedicated this song to my mama, she left and abandoned us when I was 5 and didn't left any mark to where she goes and if she woulr ever come back and if we would see her again, my papa became an alcoholic and was always drinking with his friends, and was always singing this song. I'd always ask my dad that what if mama would come back, will he still accept her? And he'd always answer, yes, I will still accept her, I believe she is still alive and oneday she will be back again. Past forward, I grew up, at the age of 15, almost 16, I was separated from my papa and lived in another place, I then stopped being a papa's girl and continued that way, met him again when I was 17, but I wasn't the same child that adores my papa. We got separated again, he goes back to our home town, in 2015, I finally go back to our home town and met my dad again, he was already very sick and was battling many complicated sickness, a few days before my birthday in December 2015, he left this world. I don't have any video of him, I couldn't even hear his voice again, I'd give anything just to hear my papa's voice singing this song again, I regret not appreciating his voice whist I still had the chance, the lyrics of the song makes it worse, I didn't understand english when I was little. Now I understand the fuss about these kind of music, I started listening to oldies again and started appreciating it. I miss him so much and I regret not appreciating his voice. Past forward in 2018, my mama finally showed up and I found out she was alive, papa had waited for her to come back but she took too long, I guess it was only good they didn't get to see each other again because she has another family now and my papa would be heart broken even more. RIP, my papa. 😭

I wish I could go back to time where the music are peaceful and pleasant to the ears and everything. I listened to this song this morning with my boyfriend when we were driving a long ride in France, from Lille to Lyon, and the evening in the same day we broke up.
