@@aminelm2474 if you look at the slide on the globe, you have to work backwards to connect the starting point to final point. So if you go to the very last slide and start at the finish, you will use the various landmarks on the slides to navigate your way to the start. For example, there is one part when the boat is approaching a valley, so you connect the dots from the water through the valley to the city. It's rather tricky. It's even more difficult to explain but I hoped it kind of helped. I'm sure you could find an actual how to video for the game and just fast forward to that point.

The fact that this low budget feature film is better produced than any Netflix original movie/series is astonishing. This has more work put into it than all of the netflix crap.

It's incredibly, I loved everything in that game. Paradox is now one of my favorites. I loved the performance they put in the mini movie. It's liked how for us in the game the visions are realistic, in reality for Dale is in cartoon. It's just beautiful.

i been playing them since idk 5 years ago ig but honestly this series just have so much adaptation potential. Movies (with all the series), books, webtoons, or even actual real life escape room, you name it. cant help but hoping for more

I downloaded the seasons about a year ago thinking it was just a normal escape game till I figured out there was many more cubes to escape and now this is one of my favorite games and I’m surprised with how well this hole thing went I hope Mac Pat makes a video out of this game sooner or later just so he could specify the story of the hole game
I literally love rusty lake with my entire being. It is my personality at this rate. I recently bought two games which I had only been allowed to watch playthroughs of them before. It reignited my passion for these games and I’m so happy other people know of them and enjoyed them just as much as I do

The actor who played Dale is a real proffessional in Paradox, that's why he found exit in 18 minutes. I am already playing Dale in this game for 12 hours, and still I haven't found the way out :(

This game is very different, it is like a breath of fresh air. It took me 3 hours to complete the 1st chapter but I really enjoyed myself playing it the entire time and I cannot stop. It was not easy, as if my head was going to explode, however after finishing it, I felt so relieved with a feeling of joy. Strongly recommend for all escape room fans.

Oh my god this was absolutely amazing. Definitely playing Part 2 in a moment. I can't believe the actor for Dale Vandermeer was so on point! I love that this had to have been made alongside the game for the TV to have the right visuals and vice versa in the game. Phenomenal work, I don't think any mobile game has gone as far as this!!!

@@thecoolring6431 Assuming you've played the other cube escape games in the series, and you've played Paradox, then the order of the chapters in paradox goes "Chapter 1, Chapter 2, Movie" and back to chapter 1. Otherwise, if you haven't played the series or paradox, then it's best you do for the context of the movie.

What we need is a series of full-length movies based on the games, beginning with one about William and Aldous Vanderboom creating the Elixir of Life and Death and becoming the First Pair.

Wonderfully creepy! Very well produced and brilliant acting by David Bowles. Makes the games look G-rated! Please make some more of these
I just love all the detail and how they pulled off the same setting as the game-it’s just amazing(and how they made the actors look like the characters in the game)
I also loved how they were able to make the character actually go through the puzzles without it seeming boring, tedious or fan service-y
They first chose the set and the actors and then they drew them 😅

The best part of this short film is how completely and utterly confused Dale is every time something weird goes down.
We usually don't get to experience the character we control's thoughts or reactions in the games. Which is a bit odd itself considering that they all have an important role story-wise.
So seeing Dale so bewildered in this 18 minute masterpiece is not only a joy, but a really odd reliving feeling. It's nice to know that whoever I get stuck controlling is as baffled as I am with what happens by the lake.
True, at least for me it was an big problem in paradise where the entire eilander family never made an single reaction of confusion during the entire game.
I actually love that the characters are usually so stoic.
totagamefull Well, remember that the Eilanders have known about the mythology of the Lake and its mysterious power for presumably a long time based on how they act and what we see in the game. They flat out worship the Lake and the wisdom that it supposedly is capable of giving. By the time Jacob comes back to Paradise, the other characters are not only aware of the strangeness that is coming but seems to almost accept it.
At least that is the way that I see it, I might be totally wrong.
But if there is something that I have learned to accept in this strange world that we love so much in spite of how much it confuses us, it is that those that are connected to the Lake in some fashion always behave in a strange manor.
I finished all the Rusty Lake games (Hotel, Roots and Paradise) then I found the Cube Escape saga, finished it and now I just completed Samsara Room. Now I'm playing The White Door...Thank you Rusty Lake!

I couldn't help but interpret the film as a symbolic journey of a detective grappling with guilt and the search for redemption. The broken TV, typewriter, and mysterious girl in the frame all felt like fragments of his past haunting him. The choices he faces, especially the three drinks representing different paths, seem to mirror his inner turmoil and quest for answers. And that ending, when the time loop begins with him potentially trying again to solve the mystery
The actor's acting is great and the voice of the crow head dude is sheeeesh
After I finish the game: "Well that was a cool little game. I wonder what the backstory is. Maybe I'll watch the movie and find out."
After I watch the movie: "Am I even real."
I recommend playing all of the developers games if you haven’t already, they are all tied together

This is a dream come true for any fan of the games. There are so many things to enjoy in this short film.
The attention to detail, the fantastic acting (something that is no small feat given how little dialogue there is), the fantastic sets, the incredible atmosphere, the call-backs and especially that wonderful meeting with Mr Crow in that misty forest.
I have been following this wonderful series of gems ever since at least Cube Escape: Case 23 and it has only gotten better with time, especially the story-telling and the characters have come a long way. I love the bizarre world that has been created and the way that it manages to suck you in to a point where things can make no sense and it doesn’t impact the experience anyway. I honestly can not put my love for this series into words and I want to really thank Rusty Lake for going the extra mile with this short film, adding it to the extremely short list of films based on games that actually lives up to their source-material.
I am eagerly looking forward to whatever Rusty Lake has in store next, the Lake has sunk into my mind and is never going to leave.
