@Robs.fatstax Will do sir, curious to what you found! We grabbed some of the later Marc Spector Moon Knights we need to complete our run as well as a few things just caught our eye. It was both of our first experiences at a con.
Great slabs and raw books. I love the Ultimate Spider-Man books and both the Amazing Spider-Man and Tales of Suspence slabs. A lower grade, but the Spider-Man/Doctor Doom book looks good. Thanks for sharing, Rob. #ComicsCuringCancer
Just reading some trivia about the last book shown, that had the first and only letters page in it "mails of suspense" maybe why there wasn't a second, lol!
They can't all be winners, my dude, but if it presents better, then that little grade knock is worth it, I feel. Phenomenal Transformers as well. Stay legendary & much ❤❤ man
Man I was eyeballing that very same ToS 59 on ShortBoxed! Great pickups, and sorry to see the down-grade bump. That’s always a bummer, but it’s still a beautiful iconic book you have!
The Land variant is very cool. To bad on the hit on the ASM 5. I have one that is delicate. My X-Men 2 is scary delicate. Would like to get it clean and graded. Not sure if I will.
The ASM book was a decision made not because I thought I could improve the grade, but because I wanted to improve the look. This was achieved, its a better looking 1.0 than it was when it was a 1.8.
Yeah, slightly click baity, but that's the game. That ASM book looks so much better, even though I lost some more of the cover. I am not sure what happened to that top corner, either it came off while being serviced or at CGC. I haven't really investigated yet, as it doesn't really matter. I knew the book was in rough condition when I sent it in to my guy and I wasn't expecting anything more than an improved presentation, which is what I got, so I am as happy as you can be with a two grade drop.
@@Robs.fatstax I’m asking because several books I sent to CGC upon return had missing pieces from cover. Before I sent them in I knew the pieces were hanging on by a thread, it happens. However I do think that if pieces fall off during grading CGC should return them with the book, especially like your cover which the piece was of significant size.
@@Robs.fatstax No worries. Would love a couple of vids you showcasing what you have, why you chose it, investment or joy of the book. The comic world is so vast an appreciation from an experienced eye would be of interest and, appreciated.
Awesome Spider-man slab.
good hauls, bro. love that slab. congrats. #OnlySlabs #SLABFEVER2024 #COMICSCURINGCANCER
Tales of suspence was my favorite one to see, but I love them all.
The TOS with Cap is becoming a new secret passion of mine
Nice spiderman pick ups thanks for sharing.
Thanks for watching!
Great to catch you at Shortboxed yesterday Rob! Hope it was happy hunting!
Indeed, it was great to see you. I did alright, be sure to check out Thursday's video when I reveal my ShortBoxed Live haul. Thanks for the support!

So much good stuff its impossible to decide.
Another excellent haul video
Glad you like them!
@@Robs.fatstax yes sir 💪
Great stuff.
Glad you enjoyed it
You dropped a Mandalorian reference. 😀 Sorry about your ASM book. Looks nice though. Congrats on 2k
As a Star Wars nerd, I do do drop references from time to time.
Just reading some trivia about the last book shown, that had the first and only letters page in it "mails of suspense" maybe why there wasn't a second, lol!
Interesting, I didn't realize they waited so long to put a letters page in that book.

With a 1.8 to begin with, honestly I expected nothing, the fact it didn't disintegrate is a miracle.
@Robs.fatstax the process they use is mind blowing
Nice Ultimate Spidey covers. ASM 5 presents really well for a 1.0.
The Ultimate was just so clean, Land did a great job.
Nice books Rob!
Appreciate it, there were some fun books in there.
That's still a very well presenting 1.0.
Yes, it presents much better than it did previously, looks far better than the grade.
This is the way
I have spoken!

Great minds think a like I guess. The ASM was to be expected.
Still a fantastic Spider-Man comic plus love the transformers comics but cap is awesome
I am really enjoying the early Captain America pickups.
A shame you took a hit on ASM 5 but it's still presents well...stay safe Rob!
Yes, it looks much better than it did. I knew there was serious risk with the book when I sent it in, so I am not mad at all.
Just a tiny bit of whiteout and the grade becomes a 10 :)
Now that is a brilliant idea...lol

You got me at CGC fail! Sorry for the hit. 😢 Where is the corner?

@@jerrythejitterbugcomicbook4098 That is a fair point. I will reach out to my presser and see what he says.
Even with the downgrade the book looks really nice
No doubt, it looks so much better than before.
Rob to you Sell Comics or just purchase for your collection?
I sell a few here an there, but its generally only when I am streamlining my collection to fund other purchases.
