When using the Over Ice Brew, If I set it to Travel Mug Size and fill the Reservoir to the Travel Mug Fill Line the machine does not actually use that much water. The machine stops after using about 1 cup of water. If you think about it, that makes sense because if using a tall travel mug filled with ice , you could not use the amount of water filled to the Travel Mug Fill Line, because your mug is already is filled with ice and it would overflow. Having just a cup of hot coffee drip over a tall mug of ice that will melt will produce about a 3/4 travel mug of iced coffee with room left over to add more ice if desired. Therefore, I just fill the reservoir to just under the single cup line.
This answered my question about the travel mug! Was wondering how one would fit on the hot plate. Now that I know it doesn't turn on I can't wait til my Kuerig dies! This will def replace it when it happens!
I got a CF080 and my carafe cracked on the bottom from dropping the ice cubes. This is from only 8 times of making iced coffee. I love the coffee bar not impressed with the carafe.

Unhappy people are more likely to complain (myself included). We have 2- one in the house and one in the RV. Love both and very happy. One is an older model as shown in this video and a newer one. No matter what you get... hope you have many good years with it.
Yes, that is correct. It is a stronger brew to be served over ice. We pre-make this also. Recommend some ice and then the brew. Gives better flavor when you later add ice to head out the door in your cup.
The light just turned on and we've gone through two descaling sets (with three rinses after each cycle of cleaning). The light is still on, could there be more buildup or is something else wrong?
We did a deep clean which takes about 4 hours the instructions should be in the booklet and then we did two rinse cycles and are clean light went off. Hope this helps!
my ninja started doing that after a month, they are garbage, i wont buy another one, its all over facebook its a KNOWN issue that they just keep NOT addressing, lovely company, takes ur money but doesnt give u a worthy product.
You have to leave the water resivour ON THE MACHINE when you add water for the flush cycle after the clean cycle is done. Just pour water into the resivour while it’s on the machine still and press clean. Works like a charm!
I am not quite sure what I am doing wrong, I just got the newest version of the Ninja Coffee Bar and every time I use to over ice brew setting it taste watered down, or the coffee doesn't taste as flavorful...
@Alex Rivera, I don't think you quite understand how coffee is brewed. If you want it cold, you still need to brew it hot, then let it chill in the refrigerator. Cold brew is another option, but can take 48 hours or more to brew without heat.

im not a ninja rep, but it's meant to come out hot over ice, and the brew itself is stronger when using the over ice function to compensate, so the coffee isnt watered down.
My ice melted INSTANTLY but that's okay, I added more ice afterwards :)) this is definitely good since I love cold coffee. 10/10 would reccomend 😊
Freeze iced coffee into ice cubes and then use them to brew over ice.

It works as described but why not just brew it at a lower temperature? It's not ICE COFFEE for a while

With a large tumbler full of ice and on the XL size setting, it stopped brewing after just a few ounces. Should I set in on 1/2 carafe?
Anyone else watch the time on the coffee maker to see how many takes it took and to timewarp?

This method is okay if you don’t have the time to make a regular hot brew and put it in the fridge to cool. It still is a little diluted by the ice.

Kayle Bartlett Mine tastes watered down also. Did you ever figure out a solution?
I freeze coffee in ice cube trays and use that as ice. it helps keep it tasting rich and flavorful.

Over ice brew still brews my coffee at a hot temperature. AND the heating plate gets hot. Is this normal???

The Over Ice option also doesnt turn on the heating plate at the bottom so it doesnt make the coffee hot or burn your mug/thermos
