In my case (golf 5 gti) 4 of the clips where broken, I mean the plastic surrounding them. But anyway, it was hard af to remove the whole panel... Now idk if to put it back or not.. yet

There was no need to open and take out the tail lights. You could remove the panel without opening the tail lights.

No, you can take it from outside using a old bank cards for example. Move the card all over tha edge and then move it again, but with pulling.
yeah for the third brake light you actually have to break the housing and buy the replacement one with the clip from ECStuning, I know you posted your comment a year ago but if you want I can link you a really good video explaining it

Miroslav Hrncir yes and after disconnect the battery and plug the battery back after 10 minutes
@@Carhax So disconect battery and plug new lock. And after 10m. Conect battery. After all should be work :D
whad do you do when the trunk is locking machenism is broken ?
You can see that hole in the middle of the tailgate, inside you will have a plastic table if you pull that you will unlock the tailgate door. Usually all the hatchbacks have this safety feature
