Well depend on how you open the bfg and farms you have. Chands is better if you have a lot of farms and price range to 10-11/wl right now.
But if you don't have budget you can make lgrids for a while until you can buy some chands

Both of them have an advantage. Chands gives more gems, xp and stable price. On the other hand lgrid easy to break, easy to grow and good xp.
