- Hey guys, here’s how we get Trinidad up in the a.m. Each day is different and each day is something new. Every other day Trinidad gets a shower and can take up to 2-3 hours. Please don’t think I always do it by myself his family is our number one support system and has taught me everything I know about taking care of Trinidad. Next time I will show you how all of it is done but I hope you enjoy it and thank you for watching!

Do really people think entertainers and athletes are heroes? In my book, people who e.g. saves lives are heroes. And people like this couple (both) are heroes as well for what they do day out and day in and choosing to be positive and make the most out of life. But entertainers? Nope! Athletes? Nope! Not in my book, they aren’t.

Y’all are a beautiful family. I have a brother that is bed ridden from a stroke 13 years ago. He’s has come a long way too. I have used one of those hoyer lifts a bunch of things. Lol we have the manual kind. I just wish you guys all the best and to stay strong.

Dear, you do a very hard job and you do it so well! I'm a nurse specially for paras and quads as well as for eldrlies and intensive care station patients and for psychic healthy. And l'm an EMT, too. So l can evaluate this, really! You're so great!!!! Please don't forget to do gymnastic for yourself cause it means a lot for your body, too! After the massive pain in my back caused of 9 prolapses l couldnzt workeas a nurse, anywhere around. I still care of some friends around. In my church l'm the one called if s.th.goes wrong. But sitting now myself in a wheelchairafter 2 surgeries at my knees went wrong (and 11 prolapses in sum) l know it would be different if we had learned to prevent this while working. I want you to stay healthy! And that you can be lovers, too! I pray for you! Stay home these months even if it's hard, we must, too! Don't trust Mr Trump, he's an idiot and doesn't want to see the truth. Please overcome healthy, you both! With all my love

You’re doing a great job caring for your family. I wonder what type of quad he is. I watch 3 others Interable couples and a single quad vlogger and it’s obvious they’re different levels. The others can transition themselves, brush teeth etc. I really appreciate watching and supporting your channels because i know it’s not easy. Maybe do a vlog that explains the difference of his disability. I’ll keep watching.

I care for my sister and we definitely need a hoyer like what you have, I currently lift her and she’s a quadriplegic as well. But she also has cerebral palsy, so what is the name of the hoyer you have? Your doing a great job, I know it’s not always easy but trust in what the lord is having you do in life. Your put where you are for a reason!
Best to get assessed by an OT. They can tell you best hoist for your sister and her carers!

Absolutely you can. Im not sure if being a paraplegic always comes from accidents but whatever happened you are here for a reason as we all are dont forget that. I hope you have some good support it must be hard living with a disability. I have a son who is disabled so i know how it is to care for someone but always tell myself he has is harder then me just being his mum . I hope you reach your full potential take care x

i think he still has alot he can do himself to release you dear...don't tell me i know nothing about quadripledgic, my boyfriend is one. So believe me, even though excercise won't bring him back to usual but will upgrade your life quality...

I thought quadriplegics can move their arms ??? Or legs ...I saw some movements on his legs ??
@@taratrudeau2029 Quadriplegic means all 4 limbs affected...doesn't actually mean zero movement. Also spasms are a thing. Some quads can actually walk. It all depends on the individual!
Everyone is differen't...somethings can take years to be able to do independently. Some people need help forever. Both are okay.
I was the assistant manager of a rehab home for three and a half years and specialized in traumatic brain injury and SCI rehab. Sorry to be critical but I totally agree that he is more capable than this. He could be dressing himself, controlling the lift, putting himself in the chair after being seated properly, brushing his own teeth. I would push my clients to do as much independently as possible and many of them had less voluntary fluid movement than this man does. Also, many of them were TBI patients, but they did more than this with less muscle control. I understand everyone is different but if a person can sit upright without a chest or shoulder strap and can move their arms voluntarily with decent control, then they can be independent people.
