As Children’s Medical Center Plano prepares to open its new patient tower later this year, we are excited to expand our clinical programs to meet the needs of our growing pediatric population. Recently, an FDA-approved treatment that delays the onset of Stage 3 type 1 diabetes in adults and children 8 years and older became available. Children’s Health was the first hospital system in the DFW area to offer this treatment, available at the Plano campus.
